We'll likely see new Godzilla figures next year to capitalize on the new movie.

In most lighting i think the gaps between this piece, the stomach and legs make it seem like this piece looks oversized... which is why i think it looks like a diaper. If it were a bit smaller it would match up better with the sculpt. You can position the legs to make it look better, but theres not much you can do with the stomach area.

Finally got my MechaKingGhidorah. Word of advice, be very very careful with him. When I touch the plastic, it feels as though it can break at any moment. Back into the box where he came from.

...that background...

The fact that the adult Junior is a similar, potentially superior figure doesn't change the fact that while it's a good stand-in as a generic Heisei Godzilla, it still only represents a particular movie scene and the Moge-Goji an entirely different movie's Godzilla. It also hasn't stopped that first MonsterArts Godzilla from being worth a bit more than it once did. Obviously most of the demand is for the beam from the initial run, and it's not a significantly higher value (it's no Ghidorah or Biollante), but if it's caught Bandai's notice and they're giving this thing a second reissue anyway, that could be a good thing for the one monster a lot of people are clamoring to get again, whether for better-constructed wings or simply because one doesn't want to drop $350 on a figure that only retailed for $125 at the absolute most.

Whether it is 100% accurate or not, the only other 90s Godzilla they need to bother with is the Biollante/KG one. The rest are inferior, sometimes garbage, designs to begin with.

Outside 94 and 89/91 I really had no idea there were any differences in the Heisei suits ._.

I mean... they all just look the same. It isn't as distinct as it was in the Showa era.

I wish there was a chart showing off the differences of the Heisei suits. I have the Heisei Godzilla Perfection artbook, and I really can't tell the differences within the individual suits

There's minor changes to the suits from 92-94. The only drastic change to the suits are the 92 suit and then Burning G. The 92 suit started taking on the characteristics of the 93 and 94 suits about half way through the film and after that the changes are very minor.

I remember the first big change I noted was that Ghido-Goji's chest was much thicker than Bio-Goji.
Bio-Goji and Desu-Goji are my favorite versions of the suit. Desu-Goji is still huge/fat but the glowing
effect looks so neat, especially during the night shots (which are most of them, honestly)

All the conjecture on why Moge-Goji would get a second reissue turned out to be for nothing, as it's actually the '95 Godzilla that gets the reissue treatment. Still an August release.

We'll probably get a few new releases this year I would imagine. Something will probably get annouced soon. Don't forget there's the possible Rose Biollante that was leaked by that one site that leake SHMA Gamera.
