Got Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- for my birthday yesterday. I'm not very good at it, but it's irresistibly metal, so I'm having a lot of fun with it. Sol Badguy is my main right now, though I'm hoping to learn Slayer, I-No, and Millia. And that music! Modern Metallica wishes it could sound this good:

Dragonball Xenoverse is released tomorrow (or tonight if you got it from Gamestop).

I'll be honest - this was an impulse buy for me. I grew up with Dragonball Z and I used to have a few buddies who imported DBZ games that were decently fun. The last few games were more or less panned for being bad, so I was skeptical about this one.

Xenoverse looks very interesting and I've been following the Twitch Beta streams and Youtube videos pretty closely. I really like the idea of 3v3 combat and the upgrade system.,,plus it will give me another game to play on my PS4 - my game collection is pretty lacking. I haven't been an avid gamer in about 3 years.

I also had a $10 off coupon and get 20% off through Best Buy's Game Membership, so I'm getting the game for $40 bucks. You can't beat that for a new release!

I am having a total blast with Monster Hunter 4. Just got to the caravan's third stop, the beach area. And it seems like it just keeps unlocking awesome things. Getting more (I now have Snarf and Narf, which I totally din't inted that. I just couldn't think of anything but Pinky saying Narf), a new mass fishing mini-game. And I know there's more to come, like materials to make cat armor and such.

But I haven't touched much of the Guild stuff yet, since the meat of that is supposed to be online co-op stuff and while it's do-able solo offline it's more difficult.

I also spent an inordinate amount of time at work going through the armor and armor skills to find out the best builds for certain skills.

A few reviews have popped up already and have been 7.5 or above. The user reviews have all been very good, but no doubt these are coming from hardcore DBZ fans who would probably rate the game a little higher by default.

I think the more critical reviews will pop up in the next few days.

Since I have been following the Live Streams, I can say the game requires a fair amount of time in order to grind for gear/moves, etc. The nice thing about it is that you can play with others while you do this.

I started playing Majora's Mask today. I've had quite a bit of fun exploring and collecting, but I haven't even gotten to the first dungeon yet. To be honest, the time limit thing is annoying as ****. I just got to the Deku King part and was on my last 10 hours, which there was no way in hell I was going to be able to beat that, do whatever I need to get to the dungeon, etc, all in that time frame, so I decided to go back. Now I am probably going to have to rescue the witch all over again. UGH!!

Bought The Order 1886 last week because I got a good deal on it. Sadly I haven't had much time to play it but from what I've played I'm enjoying it. It's like Gears of War except with Werewolves.

Well, I'm nearly done with Majora's Mask. I finished the other two dungeons yesterday and my god, the boss of the last dungeon took FOREVER to die. Of course, that dungeon also took forever to beat as I started it at 8am on the first day and finished the boss at 10pm on the final day.

I only need 5 heart containers and 1 mask to go as far as sidequesting goes.

Today I should be finishing the game.

With a helping of Mega Dash Juice, Demondrug, and Armor Skin potions I got him. Lots and lots of dodging. Carted once but as soon as the virus filled bugger started limping I knew I had him. Still hate hate hate him in rage mode.

I bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I made a character, that's as much time as I had yesterday. I kind of wish the male Buu's didn't looks so stupid. I wanted to run around looking like Super Buu. The Female Majins look more threatening. I'm excited to play it (re-watching all of DB...and have been digging out old toys and crap) especially since I've not played a DB game since Budokai 2 back in...what? 2003 or 2004?

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and RE Revelations 2 are what I've been playing. Almost done with RE.

After I beat RE going to start Bloodborne which I'm getting tomorrow.

I've had no time to play video games lately due to my insane job hours and whenever I'm free, I've used that time to travel/take trips, but this week I've finally been able to spend time at home alone for a change, so I dusted off and just beat God of War: Ascension. I know some felt it didn't break much ground from GOW3, but I still thoroughly enjoyed this game. Overall, I love the GOW franchise, and it's time to see Kratos kick some major ass in a new PS4 adventure in the near future.

Finally started playing the heists in GTA ONline. I've only gotten the first two done because of how much of a pain in the ass it is just to play a game. I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes today just to play the first set up mission to the second heist.

You can co-op guild quests just go into the guild hall.

I've got a full set of Tesucabra armor and once I put a gem in it it'll reduce my sharping to one swipe instead of the standard four. I plan on going with the master sword and hylian shield too.

On a side note I beat Revelations 2 last night it didn't really get good until the last two episodes. I then started Bloodborne but I'm not quite ready for it so I'm going to start something else. Bloodborne looks decent and all but I want to play through Demon's Souls, Darksouls and Darksouls 2 before I get into Bloodborne.

The same group of people that made the Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 made Bloodborne and it's very similar. All the way down to the difficulty.
