^In YOUR timeline? The hell is happening here? He got held back due to his activities as Spider-Man? WHAT?!?! He clearly graduates and is in college in Spider-Man 2. Do they retroactively say, "Listen here, Spider-Man except we're not supposed to know you're Spider-Man, so this doesn't make any sense! We're sending you back to high school even though you're currently in college. We've had enough of your chicanery!"

It's not possible to connect these unrelated films.

I like it! Forget Civil War!!! The next Captain America film should use the plot of "Billy Madison"!

Well if the last two are any indication, then it will be a 30 year old playing a high school student.

I'd be fine with Miles Morales. It would get a little distance from recent Sony flicks... plus I hate what they've done with the character of Peter Parker in the last 3 films. The only downside I see to doing Miles would be another origin story, which Sony has already done twice in recent years

I also don't buy that article's "beat DC to the punch with a black superhero" schtick. Besides isn't Black Panther still in Civil War? I don't know. Sounds out of left field. It also doesn't add up with the casting rumors.

I mean if they do go with Miles I'll still go see it and support it 100% but I just wanna see Peter.

Black Panther I think is going to have a cameo in Civil War. The same with Spider Man.
