That was pretty cool. I'd watch a series like that.

Very nice! I remember when the Americanized version of Gridman was the closest you could get to seeing Ultraman in action.

I haven't samurized this hard since 1994.

Seriously, that is super legit. I think Gridman is due for a revival in general. The concept would be very easy to update for the present day, and if they did a new show in the style of this short, that'd be all the better.

I am hoping that this short will eventually lead to something. I find the Samuraized version barely watchable now, but I still can't help liking it.

What an amazing short! Studio Trigger always impresses me with the small but growing amount of work they have.

Lots of love put into this one.

Woah, scratch that, I think there might be an error here, the website streaming the Gridman animated short is a collaborated effort by several studios which will be streaming new animated short each week for thirty weeks, so this might be the 30 episodes part came from, while niconico served as a partner streaming the preview and a related program (exposition/narration or something)on this coming monday.

PS: I'm still hoping for a good news though.

This needs to become a full-fledged series.

That hit my right in the childhood.

Hey, Guillermo: were you guys still looking for a studio to partner up on the Pacific Rim animated series?

Man, this was awesome, I would love to see a Gridman anime.

And after that, a Godzilla anime made in the same stile.

Even though this was pretty much an action reel, I thought it looked really cool. I'd like to see a series done in a similar style, but it would be cool if they branched out and did something unique with the show that set it apart from the live action tokusatsu series without it just being an animated adaptation.
