I am massively hyped for this figure and plan to be fanboy blind to any and all flaws.

Looks like X-Plus made their new 10cm line official! The line is called “Toho Monster Musuem”. No prices yet, but here’s hoping they scaled that down as well

That sucks :(, although the box does look neat.

Wow, I can't believe they sent it that way! I ordered mine from Amiami also, so I guess that's how mine will be also. I don't think I will be able to hide that from my wife.
The future is big, sparkling warble of superclean and we should endevour to do our best to wash our feet by it.

Thank you,

I'm sure that packaging size (not to mention the contents) has something to do with it being shipped that way.

I am really impressed with how well balanced this figure is. It's not going to fall over like Rodan.

Wow, yours wasn't broken out of the box? I know two people who got damaged figures where one of the necks snapped off during shipping.

My figure arrived like that as well. The legs on mines are a tad warped, rendering Ghidorah's feet not evenly planted on the ground. Not sure the condition resulted from shipping. King Ghidorah still looks stable though and probably less likely to topple.

WOW! With exceptions to Mothra and Manda, you've got'em all. I envy you.

Mine just arrived. Nothing warped or broken thank God. All to assemble is the wings which I tediously installed without trying to crack the plastic. Ghidorah feels like heavy vinyl but the wings are of resin type.

Did yours come from Ami Ami too?

The wings make me a tad nervous since they just kind of peg in the body not too securely, yet the design works.

Yeah I got it from Ami Ami. Was happy and mad when it arrived. Happy it arrived but mad to see it exposed with just the postal docs slapped on. As a seller myself, post office would have charged extra if it had come in a parcel box. Ami Ami was just making it cheaper for us.
I was sweating bullets putting on the wings. Heard too many stories about broken heads and warped legs that I wasn't gonna let this be a casualty. The wings fit fine but can easily come off if a shirt caught on it or bump into, but sturdy it holds.

That's true. Drooping can happen and a careless mistake will ruin anyone's day.

The material used for the wings is the same firm material used for the Mothra wings and it connects into an armature, so I am not at all concerned about the wings drooping. Maybe the necks, but they are soft vinyl and can be adjusted.

since I'm too late in the game for collecting the 25cm's, sad to say I'll pass on this King Ghidorah. I'll just have to be happy with the X-Plus resin statue I've had for a number of years now.

I was considering picking up KG. I'm gonna pass now. The amount of QC issues has been far too high for me to risk dropping 300+ on him. I don't have the skills needed to fix a broken piece if he's damaged. FB has been blowing up about all the issues...it seems like about 50/50 for those who have damaged figures to those who don't. Legs, jaws, and heads have fallen off before even being opened.

Yeah, no thanks.
