Especially not with the comments from Sony that they feel like waiting 5 years in between their crappy Spider-Man films is too long.

They apparently want to start cranking out crappy Spider-Man movies MORE regularly...huzzah...

In my opinion.

Spider-Man: Great
Spider-Man 2: The Only Spider-Man Movie Worthy of the Title "Amazing"
Spider-Man 3: Crap, Bearable Crap, But Crap Nonetheless

Amazing Spider-Man: Decent.
Amazing Spider-Man 2: Crap, Bearable Crap, But Crap Nonetheless.

The first Spider-Man is good.

The rest range from mediocre to absolute GARBAGE.

Yes, even the unbelievably well-loved Spider-Man 2, for which I'll never understand the LOVE.

Maybe Sony can give them Tobey's Spider-Man and keep Andrew.

In that case I totally want Drake Bell or Joah Keaton as Spidey.

Drake Bell would look like Spidey. But Josh Keaton would sound like Spidey.

This just really sounds like 'Avengers: Civil War.' It feels like we're losing a Captain America movie to add another Avengers movie.

Am I the only one in utter shock they're acknowledging anything from The Incredible Hulk?

^ Absolutely not. I honestly NEVER thought I'd see any characters from TIH return. I figured it would amount to another round of re-casting. It is very encouraging. Has me really scratching my head wondering just WHAT is Ross' part in this? Are they perhaps laying the groundwork for a Red Hulk / Hulk throwdown at some later point? Speaking of points... what is the point of having Ross on screen without a Hulk or Banner to fight / argue with???

Next BIG question... since Ross is from Universal's solo HULK film does that mean that Disney and Universal have negotiated something behind the scenes to allow for a future HULK solo film again, sort of like Sony and the whole Spider-Man legal mess? Regardless, the news is encouraging and very exciting! Now... will we see Betty Ross make an appearance? I would LOVE to see her and Natasha fighting over Bruce! LOL. Not that the fight would last more than about one second before Widow kicks the living crap out of Betty.

All this news I find more exciting than concerning. Seeing as how the cast is growing so utterly massive, this will be a sort of acid test to find out how well we can expect the Russo brothers to handle the INFINITY WARS when the time comes. If AC:CW is a muddled mess then that won't bode well for their turn at the AVENGERS.

I kept thinking Ultron would actually kill a whole city or something and that would be the event that lead into Civil War. I don't know, Scarlet Witch losing control could work. I feel that whatever happens it probably involves Wakanda in some way.

Nice. Ant-Man on Cap's shoulder in the last pic.

I guess maybe that aerial drone-looking thing in the last two images is the MCU take on Redwing. I wonder if they'll have Scott Lang sharing the ant-control tech with Sam Wilson so he can use his thoughts to command the drone and, eventually, all kinds of birds.
