I was let down by the movie because I actually LIKE a good, quirky, independent dramedy and I felt like it was trying a bit too hard on the quirky with bits of humor that just really didn't jive with me. The drama aspects were pretty interesting, I thought, just sabotaged by some of the humor. Aubrey Plaza is adorable though.

Jurassic Park helped push dinosaurs into the 20th century but there's been nothing but JP dinos since in all sorts of media. These poor animals are stuck in a rut. I'd love to see that next JP watershed movie that brings them into the 21st century, it's long overdue.

And I saw a leaked version of parts of trailer on line with VERY unfinished CGI, I'm sure you can find it still if you look hard enough. But I'm excited!

I think the CGI looks fine. But they could do better.

If Chris Pratt riding on a motorcycle with a pack of velociraptors to hunt down a genetically-engineered previously non-existent species doesn't make you wet your pants with excitement then you and I are on different wavelengths.

I don't know what to think about it yet after seeing that. The feel will definitley be different than in 1993 or 1997.

Considering JP3 was just a redressing of TLW, I'm fine with something new.

Love it. Can NOT friggin wait to see this flick!

Although the "leaked" trailer that obviously used animatics was a bit different. I wonder if that'll be trailer 2.

Conceptually, this really is ridiculous. There's a genetically mutated dinosaur hunting humans ala Predator. That's the plot-line of some kind of weird Corman b-movie, and the trailer presents this with a straight face.

You have to give it credit for that, and my interest is definitely piqued, too bad that awful actor from GOTG is in this though. Bad, baaad CGI too.

Between combined with , I'm a happy freaking camper. This is what I want a full park in total panic. None of this skeleton crew bull crap. It's the fun and carnage of the end of The Lost World while being an actual terror filled threat and not some campy run amokness.
