Well Thanksgiving week schedule went up and I have Black Friday off however Black Thanksgiving I'm working a double shift for a combined 13 hours. I work 5:30am-10:30am then I get a 4.5 hour break and have to work from 3pm-12am.

I'm working 42 hours that week so that's good though the schedule may change as there might be some tweaking done.

I agree Kain I've come to the conclusion that if I work in retail I won't be spending time with any of my family on holidays except for Christmas. That's why I think this is going to be my last year in retail, I like my job and stuff but it's kind of taxing on me.

Retail is good when you are in school or are retired just wanting to make some easy money, but lately, it seems like these companies care more about their profits than their employees.

So thanks to my company's super laxed price match policy my paticular store ended up losing about $1200 in sales yesterday. We ended up pricing matching three $450 Xbox One Kinect bundles for $89.99 and a $180 3DS XL for $50 due to fake ads on Amazon (Xbox Ones) and a glitch on Sear's website. Needless to say the store manager wasn't pleased so I was tasked with hunting down support numbers for Amazon and Sears' Website so that managers can call them if we get price match deals that seem to good to be true.

It seems that my store wasn't the only one. I saw on Kotaku today that people where getting PS4s for as low as $50!!!! I know I shouldn't care to much but this stuff will effect my bonus.

You guys are lucky, I don't even get Christmas off since I work in a movie theater. Maybe some holiday miracle will occur where Obama doubles the minimum wage, but I'm not holding my breath on that.

Just a gentle reminder to be careful and not get bogged down in a political discussion here, guys. Nobody's breaking any rules yet, but this is a politically-charged topic in many ways.

Sold my Hot Toys Wolf Predator on ebay. Only got $10 more on it than I did with my self repaired Hot Toys AvP:R Alien Warrior, I was expecting nearly double that for a nearly pristine figure (one of the tips of the retractable spear broke off). But alright, money is money right?

But now he wants a refund because supposedly it's was not as described. Says the right hand must be glued in because it won't come out and that the other end of the spear broke off as well. I asked for photos before I decide how to move forward.

He simply could be an idiot that doesn't know the spear could expand, or isn't pulling hard enough on the hand. Or the joint's stiff and just need to be heated up.

I just feel like this is nothing but a scam based on buyer remorse and there's not much I can do about. I had a no returns policy but apparently if the item isn't as described, ebay can override that. Could I seriously loose out on this because the spear might have gotten damaged further in shipping?

Yeah, ebay's policies now are absolute horsepoop. I stopped selling internationally because last year I had two packages that did not make it to their destinations in Greece and Brazil and ebay made me refund them everything including the shipping. So not only did I lose out on the items, the shipping cost, but also the shipping I paid for them to ship out. Apparently, a tracking number means nothing if the tracking number never reaches the destination.

I wish I could stop selling on ebay, but there is no where else to go as (no offense to anyone here) people on message boards think they are entitled to buy an item that sells on ebay for $100 for $40. I don't mind selling it lower than what it is selling on ebay, but at least make me an offer that isn't insulting.

i've stopped selling to international buyers altogether and it cut down 95% of the issues i've run into with ebay.. but yeh, if someone sends me an unsolicited offer and its agreeable to me, i reset the auction as a "Best Offer" and message them the info... about 75% of the time, they do not ever submit an offer....
