No idea, but AmiAmi listed Rebirth for 7344 and SpaceG at 7020. Hobby Link had them for 6800 and 6500. So it sounds like they are either upping the price to match after market inflation or they're just greed bastards. Occam's Razor would say the latter.
But from the US perspective, the prices haven't really jumped, in my opinion anyway. Just looking at the versions of Godzilla and their MSRP, only two are over the mid-high $60 price range, Burning G and G2000. Most everything else has been $80 or more, aside from the small single releases (Rodan, Little Godzilla and Godzilla Jr). Although I understand Kiryu 2 being a web exclusive and being a tad bit more expensive but $30 dollars more, sharing the MSRP of King Ghidorah, seems slightly excessive. But it doesn't seem too much like a bad trend because I thing the MSRPs of the other upcoming releases seem appropriate.
