I have a few friends that are already tired of it. I'll admit that it'll take me some time to get tired of it because it's sort of a dream come true.

But looking at this...

and I could see how some people tire of them.

If they want longevity with the material I'd think they'd need to do some more varied plots and characters. Now I loved Man of Steel but if every Superman movie is as serious as that I'll get tired of that real quick. At some point I'll want some levity. How about we have a Superman comedy with Mr. Myxlplyx down the line?

I don't believe the Joker has ever been apart of any incarnation of the Suicide Squad has he?

Fantastic casting, but a Suicide Squad movie so soon, without introducing the villains properly in their own film is a huge mistake.

Well aside from Harley, NONE of these villains are well known at all outside of comic fans. Deadshot, Deathstroke, Captain Boomerang, etc, aren't huge characters and they should be introduced in the proper heroes films first. DC thinks they can pull a Guardians of the Galaxy type risk here, but it isn't the right move. A movie like Avengers wouldn't have been possible if they didn't familiarize us with the characters in their own films first. Its doubly difficult when you have a main cast of all villains.

I think it could still work, but I think it's a strange choice. (I think that in the gap between Man of Steel and Dawn of Justice a whole universe of stuff has cropped up what with the older Batman and the like.) If this fails then Sony's unlikely Sinister Six film doesn't feel like it's going to happen at all. (which is okay).

The least exciting prospective DC movie is, in my opinion, Cyborg. Cyborg is a perennial team member. What will a Cyborg movie even be about? Then a couple of thoughts came to me...

-The Metal Men movie has been supposedly in development for years but has disappeared from the schedule.
-In their New 52 versions The Metal Men's origins are tied up with Cyborg, and there's even rumblings of a 'Cyborg and the Metal Men' title.
-The New 52's M.O. is to tailor the DC characters to be more adaptable to other media.

If the Cyborg movie is actually "Cyborg and the Metal Men" it'll become my most anticipated superhero movie!

^Just imagine Chemo in a movie!

CHEMO!

I could see this pairing work. The Metal Men are machines who gain humanity while Cyborg has to come to terms with becoming partly machine.

Also, maybe Plastic Man and Metamorpho are in the Shazam movie? I'm just gonna assume my favorite DC characters are all hiding in the current slate of films.

I can see Jason Momoa as Aquaman, certainly a movie I'll keep an eye on as it develops. At least we shouldn't have to worry about Hollywood co-opting a character to tie a villain to the hero (and by extension share an origin). Aquaman already has half-brother Orm Curry aka Ocean Master if the powers that be want such a character, hopefully they don't go the cliched route and create a common origin outside of having the same father. Perhaps whoever gets the director's chair for the Aquaman movie[s] will forgo a full origin story altogether.
