This conversation piqued my curiousity so I asked the question on the X-Plus Kaiju Collector's Group on FB. If you are in the group ILL GREEN you should be able to find the thread easily enough. Apparently all the Diamond reissue 54s have mouths like your figure & mine, while the monochrome G55 & Angilas 55 have white teeth. Strange. At least you know it's not a defect, that is indeed how they meant it to look.

Yours looks much decent than mine though. Mine was like dark gray completely. But no worry, I put it through my monster lab .

He is a keeper, I will never sell him. I hope the next figures look good because I preordered the lot of '55, '62 and '68 Goji plus Hedorah '71. I would hate to cancel those.

BLERP. MY VARAN WHO WAS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY HAS, AFTER BEING LEFT ALONE FOR A FEW MONTHS, LOST THE ABILITY TO STAND WITHOUT DIVING FORWARD!
I remember reading about other Varans toppling and was so pleased that mine was fine, but alas....he has lost the will to stand.

My figure has a leaning problem too, which is quite unfortunate. My quick solution was to have Varan lean against the side of the display shelf, instead of weighing him down with something.

Looks like '62 and '68 are coming this or next week. Hedorah is also being released this week, too bad I preordered him with EE, they are some sweet time indulgers, gonna have to wait for it in the middle of October

yes! KinguGoji is on his way, should get here by Saturday. As for '68 Godzilla, there seems to be a delay though not confirmed but it seems everywhere I go, he didn't came with the '62 shipment.

Trying to get in touch with EE to see if Hedorah came in yet, if not, I'll cancel and go with Atomic Empire since he's cheaper there and in stock.

130 bucks with free shipping on the 62 and was in stock last night. I've personally bought from them before with no issues and they use paypal.

I had to get '68 G from EE since he's no longer posted on Atomic Empire. Hedorah and '62 G I went with Atomic Empire because they're cheaper, and yes they do have free shipping just like EE.

I regret missing 3 of the 30cm releases despite primarily collecting 25cm. 2 of those just got US rereleases! So I picked up Hedorah and G'62 from my local comic shop.

Question though... Is this how the feet are painted on the Japanese release?


The hands are a little better but both seem below X-Plus standards.

That does look rather shoddy if you ask me. I'm expecting mine within the next few days and I hope it looks better than that.

To be honest, the japanese version also looked like Goji stepped in some mud but he has brown and grey highlights and the toe nails have a silverish hightlight.

My Kingoji should be here today, I'll let you know how he looks.

Its actually that way on the box art so I guess its intentional...
Maybe thats suit accurate, but it looks incomplete

He just arrived right now. Yup his toes stepped in gray mud too but its highlighted with a green tint. Looks decent here

SciFi Japan has product info and high-res photos from X-Plus for their “Light Up” Mothra (1961) figure, coming in November.

From Super Fest, looks like the RicBoy Garamon is coming with a 3 person set of the main characters from Ultra Q. Thats a pretty neat extra.




Also, looks like the Ricboy version of the Yuji Sakai G'89 is being delayed a month.

I have Gomora (Ultraman version, not EX from Ultra Galaxy) for sale if anyone is interested. I'm also considering selling my Ric 95 Godzilla.

Anyway, I thought Diamond was going to anncounce additional waves beyond G89 and Goro...what happened to that?
