Wow that's pretty rad. Hmm Gamera 96?

Makes me wonder if....

Nah.

Would they?

SO THEN, nice to know they're including effects parts with this guy.

@ Dr. Kain
Probably due to them adding the light gimmick which added a little more to the cost.

At least they aren't skipping accessories this time like in previous non-cyborg or mecha robotic MA figures. Looks nice. They hid the joints well. I just wonder how much larger it will be compared to the Revoltech version. And does this mean they will also make a Legion Queen...time will tell.

Any new franchise entry won't skimp out on effects parts and accessories. Once the initial few releases pass to get buyers hooked, that's when they'll limit what comes with these figures. They did this with both Godzilla and AVP. Right now, this figure is just testing the waters. If it sells and rated well, you can expect future releases from the Gamera universe.

Ouch on the price tag. So now even figures you'd assume would be a little more affordable are going to be starting around $100, huh? Damn. MA fans have no right to complain about X-Plus anymore.

Unpopular Opinion; I would be AOK with Monsterarts of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, and an announcement of them would be a win/win for me.

I don't like that Gamera's face it's too pinched, so it looks all wrong. I do like the wing accessory which I wish the revoltech had come with but this Gamera won't be replacing my revoltech G2.

^ That's why I am surprised they are delving into Gamera at all. I'll be sticking w/ the Revoltech as well considering the price point. I might be wooed by a 95, Zedus or Adult Irys, but we'll see if the line gets there

I'm not a fan of Gamera & Friends so this is an easy pass for me.

(I really hope Tamashii Nations doesn't want me to do a video of this, ack!)

How can you day you have no interest in some of the best giant monster films to have ever come out of Japan if you don't actually give them a chance?

Yeah, go watch them! They blow away pretty much ANYTHING Godzilla has done since the 60s.

Heisei Gamera trilogy pretty much outdoes GMK in every department. It's quite a thrill ride really, and there's a reason why it's considered some of the best kaiju films ever made. They were made on a smaller budget than the Heisei Godzilla films of the 90s and managed to completely blow them out of the water. Toho execs were sweating bullets when Gamera Guardian Of The Universe was first released in 1995.
