Spent much of last night at the hospital. My sides were killing me, so my doc wanted me to go in case it was appendicitis or something serious. Everything was normal. I've been dealing with IBS for the past 2 years, so apparently that was causing all the pain...it was just much more pain than I normally have.

Had to get a CAT scan, so yay...medical bills. :/

My cable bill with Comcast had gotten astronomical...(like $160 per month and I don't have any premium channels or anything). I also HATE their cable service. When I called to ask to have my bill lowered, they were uncooperative, so I switched to DirecTV and at&t uverse internet.

I hate this internet more than I hated Comcast cable. And I hated Comcast cable a LOT. This is AWFUL. I've disconnected my phone from my wifi because I get faster connectivity through 3/4 G than through my freaking wifi.

Probably gonna wind up keeping Comcast internet. AT&T's absolutely sucks.

Had an odd anxiety attack today despite having a pretty good day. I hate having an anxiety disorder even though I wanted to avoid it I think I might try to get on some medication because my anxiety levels have been higher than normal despite having a lot of good stuff happen to me the past few months.

Work computer crashed...lost some stuff I would have rather not lost...mostly some personal stuff, but dammit. Some of this stuff was convenient to have and now it's just GONE.

My anxiety disorder has been at an all time high this past week. I've had two panic attacks. Luckily though I got scheduled in to see my doctor today/yesterday and got a prescription for it. She mentioned that I probably won't see results for about a week or so.

Wow, just wow. This isn't about me directly, but I just got an email from my mom telling me that my brother (who is a low life junkie and is one of the reasons I left NY 8 years ago) stole all of their savings, and then after a restraining order was placed on him from the house, he came back and threatened them with a knife for more money, kicked their car door in, and then slit his wrist in front of them because they no longer had any money to give him. Unfortunately, he survived.

They are now going to clean up the house and sell it off because they don't want him to even know where they live anymore. I knew he was a scumbag sack of ****, but I did not know he was THAT much of a worthless human being.

I strained my back yesterday on my last set of cleans while lifting. Now standing up, sitting up, or getting out of bed all look like this.

Lately, I’ve been watching old Apollo, Space Shuttle, etc. launches on YouTube. In almost EVERY ONE of these videos, I see remarks in the comments section like “Wow, the date of the launch was 1 month and 7 days before I was born.” / “I was born just 7 months, 8 days after this launch took place” / "My birthday is 2 days after the date of this launch, although I was born 25 years later" / etc.….who gives a sh*t?! I hate people constantly trying to randomly insert their non-contributing selves into everything….

I tend to do the same. Two events that occurred on my birthday (July 20th) did have quite an impact at the time. 1969 was memorable for the 1st moon landing and 1973 when Bruce Lee died. Those two days were (and still are) unforgettable.

I was born 3 days before the 40th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. Its just a way of figuring out how you fit in the scale of history.

Today started out OK but quickly turned bad.

First I get to work & get a decent register.
Then a person gets sick, and I have to go to the returns department.
Then I have TWO customers in a very short period wanting me to look up receipts.
1st one had no credit cards (they said Target thing made them change), none of their phone numbers had anything, and they had a very common name (at least 5-6 people in the database).
2nd one had a phone number that worked, but he didn't buy an extended warranty for a $3000 TV.
So he was SOL since it had been over a year since he bought it.
I'm sorry customers, but unless we have enough info, we can't look up stuff easily.
We can't just make your reciept appear out of thin air...

Then the rumors going around the store about us being open on Thanksgiving itself were verified.
I already told the department manager that I would NOT like to work that day (since I am normally off on Thursday anyway).
If I am scheduled they can freaking bite me!
Seriously NO JOB has more value than spending Thanksgiving with my family.

If you have a Fry's in your area, please boycott the store on that day.
We need to put a stop to this ridiculous corporate greed now.
While we slave away for chump change, you can bet the CEOs of Target, Walmart, Best Buy & KMart are sitting home with their families.
BTW we don't even get holiday pay for working on that day (and it IS a National Holiday).

Since Target & Best Buy are doing the same thing, please boycott them as well.
Also make sure to avoid K-Mart as well, since they are opening at 6 AM on Thanksgiving & staying open 42 hours straight.
At this rate we will be eating Turkey for breakfast, and then going shopping...
Not like I have ever gone shopping on Black Friday (even when I work that day).

Don't complain too much about working on Thanksgiving. There are no days off on the Las Vegas Strip.

On my end... I haven't seen one of the cats since Saturday. He recently showed signs of wanting to go outside, and must have slipped out when I wasn't looking.

Yesterday a leg muscle in my thigh started hurting and by the end of the night I couldn't put any weight on it. I slept worth crap because of it (only got about 4 hours of sleep) on top of being exhausted from not sleeping that well. Today when I woke up it was even worse. Now I'm starting to feel a little better with the leg but it still hurts. I think I'd rather have back pain then this because it sucks not being able to move that well.

Well, it's not really "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!", but at the same time, it is. My aunt died yesterday. I'm not upset about it at all as she can now live in peace. She has spent the last 10 years with stage 4 of Alzheimer's. After my g/f and I moved to CO it go to the point that they had to put her in a care center because she couldn't even remember to go to the bathroom or eat at times. The only negative is I never got to see her again after we moved in 2006.

^ Sorry to hear that Kain.

As far as all the retail chains, having worked retail for years (thankfully I work a 9-5 job now) I used to loathe the Holidays. Christmas music began on November 1st and there were plenty of days I'd close the store at 11 or 12 at night and then then open the store at 5 or 6AM. It's stupid. We weren't even busy during those times.

Anyway...

Yesterday I was sick. I was Throwing up, experiencing body aches...ugh. I'm better today, but not 100%.
