They don't care what Revoltech has done in the past. The decision making of which version of what monster isn't decided upon, or even a factor, of what other toy lines have created.

I find most of the GFW designs to be inferior to the originals. Give me Showa any day...not to say I don't like some of the GFW kaiju. I do, but I also prefer most of the Showa designs. I dislike the GFW Godzilla design. Gigan is cool, but the sleekness of the original is better.

Meh, until we know what's coming out I guess we all se back and wait.

The only FW updates I liked where Hedorah and Manda, the rest fail in comparison to the originals.

I just want Manda. It's so awesome to look at. I wouldn't be opposed to Anguirus either.

I prefer Gigan's FW design over the Showa. The same goes fro Kumonga and Kamakiras.

Anyway, I just got an email from Amazon that tells me my Godzilla won't be arriving today. Like NO ****!!

Mine hasn't shipped yet, but it's expected to be delivered sometime next week. Such is the price you pay for Super Saver Shipping (nothing)! I can handle the wait.

Yup, that's around the same time here. Now here's a weird one; I have an Imperialdramon Figuarts marked for the 3rd-5th, but its release date is the 15th.

A distribution observation; I like that Vul Eagle is getting a US release. A Red Ranger from a series way before MMPR/Zyuranger. So only hardcore sentai nerds would know. Same for Rider ZO.

Blue Beet, a character who got adapted into something here in the US, hasn't so far. :|

Nippon Yassan away!

With Mecha King Ghidorah out of the way, the only Heisei Godzilla releases left are Godzilla 89, and technically Godzilla 84 (something Bandai considers a Showa era figure based on chronology not importance to the series).

Anyone wanna guess whats down the road for the first half of next year?

Well, the Muto couple comes to mind. They were rad antagonists, and judging on the amount of fanart they have on Pixiv they were well received too as far as nerds go.

The Super Articulated Figures group on Facebook has given out a notice saying that supplies of many of the new releases are dwindling quick. Is there any proof to this? Should I finally get a credit card and just buy them all now and pay them off over time  ?

I worry because I haven't picked up the Mothra and Battra sets yet but I really want to. And I want to upgrade to Adult Jr as well, and that already seems to be having issues with shipments.

Steven over there is jumping the gun. I was at Bluefin yesterday and they still have inventory of Godzilla (Adult jr.).

If you want to accurately see whats still available, visit my site in the past releases section. Everything is color coded as to what's available.

I received mine from Bluefin yesterday. Because of the new material, the thing practically fell apart upon removal. The torso was not attached and both legs popped off when I touched them. Those three parts remain VERY loose like MG93 joints. The inner torso articulation system also seems to be assembled incorrectly as it is crooked. I have another one from Amazon coming in tomorrow so we'll see if this one was a fluke.

Mothra Larva has a great sculpt and articulation is great for what it has to offer. But the paint really kills it for me, especially looking back at the prototype photos. Saying that they seemed like they were trying to do a Showa color sounds like some buyers' rationalization of a crappy paint job.

I'd like to point out as well, this is the first time I've ever opened a box and the figure pretty much fell apart and remained rather loose after putting it back together. Granted, there's way to fix these sort of issues, but I was surprised nonetheless.

Mothra Larva!

I would consider G2K and Biollante Rose Form. I'd probably pass on Rodan since I hate that sculpt with the fire of a thousand suns. Biollante would depend on the price. G2K would depend on the sculpt itself - I rather dislike the suit design, but sometimes figures look better than the suits.

I really dig Fire Rodan's sculpt. The only thing on it that looks funny to me are the knee joints. I'm having a hard time seeing why so many individuals loathe it. I mean, what would make it any better than what's already there?
