I like the idea of Ghidorah being the "Apex Predator" of the galaxy. Just as Godzilla is nature's way of restoring balance, Ghidorah is a cosmic "balance restorer". He should also be the cause of the Permian mass extinction, and thus the extinction of the Godzilla species.

KG will be interesting. He's a space monster, but I'm not sure I want sentient aliens in this (as in MZ) or any mention of KG destroying planets by some otherworldly being (GTTHM). Maybe a good way to handle it is to have KG destroy satellites or space stations followed by a massive attack on a city with complete destruction. No further explanation would even be needed.

Mothra can still be the guardian monster of a small island (which has been quarantined after previous atomic testing and of course Monarch is responsible for the quarantine).

The fracking idea is cool for Rodan if it's basically "whoops look what we found," and not much else.

I really hope Godzilla fights Rodan. I've also wanted a Showa type GvsR movie with no interference from other monsters. Their battle in GTTHM is fantastic.

They should just stop with this series. Everyone "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" hates this movie so there's no point in sequels. Just let toho do it so people won't complain

I'm all for Ghidorah being an alien creature that destroys worlds. Whether he does it on his own or is working on behalf is aliens doesn't matter. It makes his defeat all that much more savory. If he were the galactic apex predator and he came to restore balance, it would make rooting for his defeat a whole lot weirder.

Why go there? King Ghidorah works best when he's a full blown badguy.

He's not exactly Galactus who does it to restore order. He's just a big "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!". And so is Gigan.

I really really really hope this sequel isn't as teasing and withholding as G2014. It worked for the first film and building up of Godzilla's mythological status, but doing this in a movie with 4 monsters would just be stupid.

Also, I'd appreciate if this movie doesn't focus on the military as much but instead focuses on regular people.

As for the person saying Toho should make Godzilla movies again so nobody would complain... personally i enjoyed G2014 a lot more than most of the Heisei or Millenium films. I'm fine with Toho continuing in not making Godzilla films. They've shown that they don't really know how anymore.

I'm half expecting Ghidorah to be another predator the age Godzilla and the MUTO lived in. That seems to be the world their drafting with the graphic novel and movie.
