I think as far as being made goes, it looks well made. But I don't particularly like the molding. I think Legion is right, in that it doesn't look like any particular Heisei Godziller. Or the finish of the skin. He just looks too shiny. The articulation looks pretty cool. That salute is pretty dang cool.

Godzilla 84 is something I will be picking up for certain though.

Seeing the NECA FB page, someone posted a link to Gamestop offering the 94 figure online. I at first was wondering if the figure was appearing in stores. I remember that Gamestop used to sell figures in their store locations in the 90s. It was cool to walk in to a Gamestop and get games and also any particular niche' or fandom type figures (like Robotech). Those were the days :P

It just looks so improved, not just the head. Have the neck and foreleg been changed as well, or is it just better posing?

^ haha good to post that.

I just thought of something...for all those that talked about the bendy wire tails on the NECA Zillas, well on the G94 version, you can pose that particular figure with the SHMA Mothra larva biting the tail and not have to use a stand (I think). As the bendy wire will hold the tail in place and with some strength that perhaps will allow the larva to hold on without a stand. The tail will not drop down due to weight because the wire will resist a certain amount of weight. Nice eh... (on the bendy tail). For those that get the larva and the NECA G94, try it out and post a pic please.

My problem with bendy tails is that they eventually break though. Right now, the only thing I see for sure that NECA has me interested in Godzilla is G84, and even though I know theres a bendy tail there, my like for G84 supersedes this.

who knows, then too, how many times would anyone bend the tail around? How many times does anyone bend their Pacific Rim kaiju figures' tails?

If they start doing Showa beyond 54, that would be interesting. For folks who said they couldn't pose the MA version well facing against something like Ultra-Act Ultraman, they would be able to do so if they keep the sizing like it is now. The new NECA 94 is much taller than the first release MA 94: http://importingmonsters.blogspot.com/2 ... mment-form

judging by what is on that blog for pics, it would appear the NECA figure is bigger than the new MA Godzilla Birth figure that just released.

Pretty much what Kain said, though I'll add a bit more and some old WWF bendy figures (Shawn Michaels!) ended up breaking as a kid too. Also my friend's Knifehead tail is broken already.

^ The large Neca G14 figure is quite amazing. The smaller figure isn't bad for 18 bucks, but the the big one is really incredible. Honestly, I'd buy a bunch of Neca large scale figures if they made them.

Just got the '94 Goji from UPS. No pics just yet, but it's pretty cool. I like it.

If I had missed out on the MAs one, this would've made a fantastic substitute.

I got to say that the pictures do make the figure out to be more possible than I expected, since the G14 didn't seem to articulated to me (or I'm just too afraid of snapping off a limb to try extreme poses) and especially comparing it to the poses I've seen the 94 get put into.

Importing Monsters has reviewed the 94 Godzilla and I think he looks worse even more so now than before:
