Just coping and pasting from the New Toy thread.

Thanks very much to Klen7, I now have a figure I had thought I'd never get.

At first I was surprised by the soft kind of spongy feel the spines had, but then I figured if they were as solid as the other figures it would be one of the most dangerous figures ever made.

And don't worry Klen, I won't be selling it. But I do have a I'm wanting to sell.

So I got Battra and Mothra Larvas and they are totes worth the hype. Nice and hefty. Battra is easily the centerpiece of the set, but I understand selling Mothra with him. Mothra would not sell on her own. Anyway Battra has good weight to him. Mothra too.

The back of Battra's head can be forced open slightly. But I think this works out really nice, because you can take some really cool photos with the light behind him for a cool effect.

So I got my big shipment in the other day and last night I decided to take Gigan out to look at him, my intent was to package him back up but well that didn't work out so I have him on display. I noticed his neck is really loose near the head any one else have this issue? Also the right mandible fell off without any effort is there a way to tighten up the joint?

I probably will never use the upgraded Gigan parts (horn, mandibles and neck) just because it looks like a pain in the ass to switch out. The only other figures I took out where the larva just to look at them and they look fantastic but my Battra's tail seems a little loose. Mothra larva is what you'd expect I guess. Probably going to hunt down a book case to display these on tomorrow because I'm sice of having them packed up and not having them on display.

I wrapped some glue around the manible's peg piece, let it dry, and then put it back into the head. I haven't had an issue with it falling out since.

And it is actually quite easy to switch out Gigan's part.

It's odd how many Gigan right mandibles seem to be loose out of the box like that.

Interestingly enough, I didn't have to do anything special to fix mine. After it fell out, I put it back in with a slight screwing motion. That was enough! Now it feels just as tight as the left mandible with no chance of falling out unless I choose to remove it for parts-swapping or something.

I don't think my Gigan had any major problems. Just the stiffness that goes with figures being left in extreme temperatures in a delivery truck, but I dealt with that quickly with silicone gel.

Does anyone know how far into August will Heisei 2.0 be released here?

ALSO, if they were to make another Showa Godzilla, which design would you like to see? Me? I'd like to see a Godzilla 75 to go with a hopeful release of Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla.

If they'd do a G'62 for around $60, I'd prolly break down and buy it, despite my hatred for this line's dumb prices.

Got my bookcase put together tonight and decided to start putting some of my figures on it.

Battra has to get sent back because two of his legs came off and the ball joints with them so I can't re-attach them to the body :(. Mothra is a lot better figure but for some reason I can't leave her on her stand to tall or else she falls right off :?

Might have to save Biollante and KG for when I get my wall shelves up because I'm not sure where I'm going to put them at on the bookcase or if they'll fit.

There was a little piece that fell off two. I forgot to mention that a replacement is on its way here and should be in the 13th. This next one I get in I'm going to take my time getting it out of the packaging I was kind of in a hurry last night trying to set up the book shelf which isn't 100% finished yet. Probably do that tonight or Wednesday night.

So....

Very new to the SH line and I'm planing to check it out. If I get the "adult" Junior Godzilla, is there a way to get the blue beam separately? I've always preferred his blue beam to anything else.

I'm also looking to buy some of these figures off members here if interested.

So...the only way to get the blue beam is with the original G? That's kinda...stupid.

But I understand that this will be spendy. I dabbled in X Plus and playing catch up there is just insane. So much money...

There is a figure with the beam currently on ebay for $50 that has gotten very little attention

I messaged the user to confirm that it does include the beam and the stand

I do agree that it is quite dumb that they have only done one blue beam in the entire line. You would think there would at least be a blue beam with the accessory packs coming out, but nope, they chose a puke colored beam.

So i swung by my FLCS today to pick up my comic pulls and the Mothra/Battra Larva set was waiting for me as well... i got to say.. it may have dethroned Spacegodzilla as my favorite SHMA release. love it.

I've gotten a ton of PMs about the blue beam and people wanting to help me out finding stuff. I gotta say thanks! Weighing my options and trying to be patient before jumping into the next deal.

But it still is pretty stupid only one blue beam exists in the entire line when we have multiple Godzillas.

Also, I'd love to see a 73-75 Showa Goji figure with Titanosaurus and MG.

Lastly, does SH have a specific way they announce releases? Meaning, X Plus announces releases stuff almost every month. How often/when does SHMA release?

Is there a reason creamsicle explosion Godzilla isn't included in the previous release section?

Thanks for the info fellas.

I seem to recall a rumor that a new 64 was going to be made...any credence to that? In not keen on the current design, but will get it of he's the only alternative.
