If I were home right now I'd badly photoshop a little Ellen Ripley in the middle of Shredder/super-power-loader.

UGH.

What a horrid trailer.
What's with all those people just randomly saying "Woah!" and "This is awesome!" in the beginning with no context?
Why is Shredder a robot now?

I'm really going to try to see this (when I ultimately see it on home video, because I'm not paying theater money for something that looks so bad) with an open mind, and not compare it to the other stuff...but I have a feeling it will be bad enough that I'll just be pretending to watch a different movie in my head.

You know, this film looks totally stupid, but I'm not really getting any of the crass, morally reprehensible mean-spiritedness that makes the Transformers films such a pain. Also, this film actually seems to focus on the Turtles instead of the humans, as is the case in the Transformers films.

What I'm saying is, this looks no more stupid than Secret of the Ooze and the old cartoon. It might be fun?

I was standing at target the other day looking at a big TMNT toy display when I noticed several of them have tattoos on their arms. I don't have anything against tattoos. I'd like to get some some day. However I think Michael Bay's character designers were trying a little too hard to make these characters look extreme.

Meh, I think it's blown out of proportion. It's an Australian poster, so the whole 9/11 thing is ground into them as it has for folks in the US. If that poster came out plastered over Time's Square, okay yeah really poor taste. But this is just a simple cultural misunderstanding. Just like the word fanny in the US and UK. To us Americans it's a child like term for the butt whereas in the UK it's a synonym for female genitalia.

I agree. The whole issue is blown (haha get it?) out of proportion, especially from something that happened nearly 13 years ago. It was a tragic event, but we can't expect every one to stay focused on one event forever. There are buildings all over the world. Explosions happen in movies. Therefore, there are going to be images of buildings with explosions happening on them. There is nothing bad about it. I doubt the person who did that poster even considered it.

Hell, I remember several years ago there was a Sony ad in Japan that had a white woman beating down a black woman to promote the new white PSP. Everyone was up in arms about it around the world while Sony was just like, "Huh?" They never realized what their poster symbolized to other people. Same goes for that XBOX commercial with the baby flying through the sky and landing in a cemetery as a skeleton.

Anyway, I think this is the only time you will ever see me defend anything dealing with this piece of **** movie.

What a STUPID thing to get upset about. This planet has become so sensitive, we look for issues that aren't even there.

I guess this is what happens when a day goes by and there's no Kardashian news...

Great news... for fans of TMNT III, because that's no longer the worst Ninja Turtles movie.

Guys, there is so much wrong with this film I can't even begin to write something approaching a review. This film is overwhelming bad. You know when a film has a couple of fatal flaws that prevent it from being good? Said flaws are easy to parse in those cases. This is a film comprised of many flaws and very few virtues. Aside from a rare exciting action scene (the downhill chase sequence on the mountain, which was the part of the movie the most time and effort seems to have been spent on) there's no redeeming factors to this movie, at all.

The repulsive creature designs are the least of this movie's problems. Everything else is worse.

Come to think of it: I kind of want everyone to go see this film. It's bad on a level that's actually amazing. You... you guys have no idea.

I feel like the one scientist in the monster movie who knows that there's a monster on the loose and no one else believes yet. But it's just a matter of time. Soon you'll all believe. Soon...

I loathed the downhill chase scene man...so long and overblown and the part about Raph's shell being cracked and then two seconds later he's being thrown at trucks like a baseball...ugh

They got the turtles themselves right....and that's about it. And for as much as they get the turtles right, there's absolutely zero interest in looking at their relationships aside from a moment at the end that doesn't work because of the previously existing lack of relationship.

I didn't care it was overblown because at least it seemed like it was competently staged and visualized. In a film that feels more like Sharknado outtakes than an actual major motion picture meant to be shown in theaters you take what you can get.

I'm honestly surprised this film has a 20% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's crazy generous.

This is beyond the pale bad.
