Just picked up what is IMO the single best season of television ever made.

^ coming off the incredible final season of Breaking Bad, i was shocked to see this series surpass it so quickly. So i think i concur with your statement. It's pretty freaking dark and twisted, but the acting, atmosphere, story telling, character development, etc is all so taut and expertly executed that despite the horror (both real and implied) i found myself completely enthralled. That said, i needed to make sure i had some happy comedy chaser to watch afterwords on a couple occasions

Picked up a copy of Godzilla the Series at K-Mart today ($10, could maybe have found in online but I didn't want to have to fuss with shipping costs or meeting free shipping minimums)

Image

I almost bought a copy of Ducktales Vol 1 or Tail Spin Vol 1 (also $10, but decided to hold off)

Just picked this up in the mail today. Only paid $60 for it. It's going to be a few days though before I can marathon the movies. I'm really interested in watching the Spanish Dracula as I've never seen that Image

Oooh -- if you have a 3D television you can watch Creature From The Black Lagoon in its original 3D presentation. I thought that was a pretty cool addition to the set, giving people a chance to see the movie the way it was originally presented.

by no means my favorite of these Marvel movies...but I just got it on eBay for $7.

I keep checking Amazon for these Marvel movies and I'm STUNNED at how they're retaining their price on there. $30, all the time. So, every once in a while I check eBay to see if I can scrounge up the few I don't yet own since even the WORST of these movies (which Cap1 might actually be) is still really entertaining. Finally found this for a reasonable price.

Now I need Thor and Thor 2 (and Cap2, but that's not even out yet so shut up)

Went to Costco and got these two.

Robocop trilogy was only $20 and they have the Rocky Collection as well, which I'll probably get next paycheck.

^I have great taste.

BTW, I should probably start socking away some petty cash for the eventual Batman '66 Blu-Ray set.

Not the BEST prices in the world ($11 for Thor, $13 for Thor 2) but I now have all the MCU movies and my wishlist is now that much shorter. In the near-future I may be running myself a Phase One marathon...

$10 at Barnes & Noble. Oddly they had the DVD priced the same.

Also, finally took the plunge and got the recent Sony double-features. I was only gonna get the King Ghidorah/Mothra double feature and only for King Ghidorah....but then I talked myself into the others. I like GFW and SOS, so I added that one...I've never seen Spacegodzilla subbed so I got that one...and then there was only one left...so I just figured what the hell.

Yeah, it's the big blu-ray set with all the discs in a standard sized case. Cool cover, too. Lame tagline on the back: "It's a madhouse.... of quality entertainment!"

... and it comes with a Fandango rewards code for $8 to see Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which I just registered!
