X-Plus has started putting up their August releases.. so far i see a 30cm 1967 Gamera (that should match up with the Gyaos)

Looks like a Baltan and another Ultra rogue (Duncan? Dancan? idk)

I do really want that...time will tell. I get maybe a figure every quarter now. Funds and space are tight, but it'd be cool to have a Showa Gamera in the 30cm scale.

I've sold 3 figures today so I could buy the Gigantic Burning Godzilla.

I'm actually hoping that X Plus lays off Toho so I can maybe catch up on the Diamond reissues. I can't buy them all, but there are few "must haves" I'm saving for. The only 25cm stuff I want right now would be Biollante and 73 Goji. The rest are great, but I can mostly get the 30cm versions instead, which I prefer. Maybe I'll luck out and they will do a 73-75 30cm Godzilla at some point.

My want list:

Kiryu
Biollante
G73, 84, 89
Titanosaurus
King Ghidorah (TBA?)

I'd like to have all the releases, but I can't spend that kind of cash right now.

SciFi Japan has posted the X-Plus Giant Monster figure lineup scheduled for late August, with product specs and high-res photos provided by X-Plus.

Wave 6 has been announced for The Diamond reissues - Godzilla and Anguirus 55

Wave 7 will be announced in a week at SDCC...but we know Godzilla 89 and Gorosaurus are the only two figures left from the original teaser flyer that has included every released figure so far. There is also a third figure in wave 7 that no one knows about...so that should be cool.

For the regular releases in Japan, I recommend Ami Ami, Hobby Search, and Hobby Link Japan. If you're looking to buy some Diamond X-Plus reissues, there is Big Bad Toy Store, Flossie's Gifts and Collectibles, Go Hastings, Entertainment Earth, and Anime Island.

You can also get the Diamond reissues by preordering them at your Friendly Local Comic Shop. ... Depending on how much you buy from your shop you might get a discount there as well. I get 15% off my SHMA and X-Plus purchases by supporting the local nerdy business, some other shops only apply the discount to comics, so your mileage may vary...

I have a preorder in for the Hedorah reissue, since i always regretted skipping that release.

TFAW.com (Things From Another World) is a good site too. I picked up my Varan and Minya from them. Good service, fast shipping and they had/have a pretty good discount as well.

I just spent way too much on the Gigantic G 95 ric boy. That Oxygen Destroyer was calling my name.

Man I'm so excited for mine to come! Anyways do you guys think that they will continue with diamond reissues once the last wave is over? Or do you think that they will start releasing new toho figures for a while?

Just based on the way they have done things so far (made to order runs) I would be very surprised if they tried to align both markets.

I would be thrilled if they started some new sculpts in the 25cm scale

Welcome to the boards
