As much as I love Showa Mechagodzilla, I would much prefer a Millennium or Showa release that hasn't already been released as a highly articulated Chokogin figure. There's a lot to choose from and so far Millennium has just been a repeat of characters that have heavy representation.

I'm just saying, they're not reissueing a figure like Mechagodzilla 1993 if there's Mechagodzilla 1975 and 1974 yet to be made. Only after those figures would we see a possible reissue of MG1993.

Interesting...

Could be nothing.

But very interestingly worded. =3= I just hope they ain't small, though they likely will. I blame Kawakita. :P

I wonder how difficult it'd be to pop the dome off and opaque it up a bit, because other than that, it looks wonderful to me.

^I'm a fan just as much as everyone else, and they (Bandai JP) don't tell me everything. Although, I'm sure if I asked they would. But I like the mystery of what's coming next. Although sometimes I'll just walk in and they'll show me a picture of something, so it kinda ruins it, but I'm still excited as all get out. There is some truth to that statement though, which I've revealed before, is that Tamashii would rather utilize different incarnations or versions of a monster before reissuing it.

Unless I specifically say that I'm confirming something, I'm just speaking as a collector/consumer. I know what I can or can't say, and I would never say anything to jeopardize the relationship I have with Bandai Tamashii Nations. I know some people want to latch on every bit input I provide because it adds to their excitement. I just hope they don't take it like it's the Bible.

Here's some good news for everyone. I can't show pictures of the differences between Big Chap's prototype and mass produced version, but in the upcoming video you'll be able to see them side by side. ALSO, I advise you to NOT remove the dome of Big Chap unless your okay with the chance of it breaking. It's not meant to be popped off, but it's entirely possible and people have been successful at modding it. But there's been a good amount that also broke it during the process. So just be warned if you do it, there's a chance of breakage.

So yeah, I'm warming up to the guy. His sculpt is great but that head is just too damn clear. Also, did they ever state why he did not come with the face hugger and opened egg they initially showed him with? If you don't know what I am referring to, it is this:

That Facehugger and open Egg are from AVP 2004 and were never planned to be released with Big Chap. If they do another 2004 Alien it'll probably come with those pieces, which is very likely.

This is what would have been released with Big Chap if they wanted to include the Egg. It's notably different in design and texture from the 2004 version.

I agree. This was a lackluster release. Even in Japan it's selling for $20. Reviews over there are more harsh than here.

If you're looking for a NEW King Ghidorah & Godzilla 2000, keep an eye on this auction. It's at $177 right now, which is still less than the combined MSRP for both figures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/S-H-MONSTERARTS ... 418358e011

Might be getting destoroyah this upcoming week. I have some extra money left over from my check so depending on how much I spend this weekend on groceries and gas I may end up picking him up if he drops down in price on Amazon.
