Well, the only reason Ghidorah is $300 is because of the second market prices. He was originally priced at $120. Value accumulates. And vintage style figures are limited run stuff. They're not to your tastes as you've said, but there is a reason why I can see someone paying the high price for it.
Also you're making big assumptions here with how people spend their money. You assume that people like me or pretty much everyone else here on the Toys and Figures board, who would not mind spending money on an expensive figure, does not also contribute to organizations that try to help people. Maybe someone doesn't. Maybe someone does (like me. Heh I constantly donate to Feeding America AND the ASPCA cause I like animals more than people sometimes

). That's their call. But what individuals (and no I don't consider corporations to be people) do with their own money is pretty much their own business (outside killing hookers and buying children >_>)
And because of this, I don't understand you freaking out on people who shell out for stuff. Well, I guess making yourself feel better about can count.
While everyone has a right to their opinion, an opinion is going to be met with another opinion. It works both ways.
