this is the show I saw the most of growing up, all through the 70s. didn't see "The Twilight Zone" until the early 80s, so it didn't have nearly the impact OL had on me.

Channel 2 would show an episode of OL before the monster movie (on "Sci Fi Flicks") and OL would almost inevitably be scarier than the feature. and it would make almost EVERY monster movie seem a lot scarier than it was, since it prepped us so well. I mean, even IT CONQUERED THE WORLD was terrifying after the OL episode "The Invisibles" (both had similar themes).

"Zanti Misfits" always then and still sometimes do make me terrified by ants! I love that episode though. That one and "The Invisible Enemy" along with "The Mice". Those are some of my favorite episodes!

The original Outer Limits is up for free streaming online and I've never seen a single episode.

Recommendations?
