pre-orders for SHMonsterarts Godzilla 2014 are up. I like this iteration of Godzilla so much I'll skip the domestic release and get it early.

I really should've bought a King Ghidorah a while back. The cheapest I can find is one for $145 with $30 shipping... I've seen others go as high at $400, which is WAY too much for a toy imo. I really need to jump on these sooner...

Or, you know, a Showa version would be good too. A great way for Tamashii get their heads out of their asses and get back to the classic era.

I don't get how that means that their heads are in their asses. Asking for that dumb price on SOS Kiryu is their heads up their asses (I think the only legitimate complaint on this thread the last few weeks).

Showa Ghidorah would be cool too. My favorite design though is Grand Ghidorah. It's like they got Heisei Ghidorah and had him go through a Showa era fashion magazine.

With the Heisei era mostly wrapped up, I wonder what direction the Godzilla part of Monsterarts will go? Millenium seems to be the next logical choice with a sparse Showa release here and there. Mutos? NECA said they aren't interested in doing them so the ball's back in Bandai's court. Will they do it? I hope somebody does...

And for that matter what about Pacific Rim Would Gipsy Danger be a Monsterarts or a Super Robot Chogokin?

You know what obscure Heisei figure I'd like them to do, but I doubt they will; Baby Godzilla. I love that cute little guy. Obviously he'd have to be scaled up like no other figure in the line, but I'm fine with that. Make him about the size of Junior or Little G. The complete Heisei son of Godzilla collection!

From my persective, Baby G, Rose Biollante, and Godzilla 84 are the only things left from the Heisei series. Again that's just in my book, I know other people would like some of the other Godzilla suit designs but the '94/95 designs we got meet my Heisei design needs. Although they would create some breathing room for my wallet so I guess wouldn't complain too much about it.

I want the 89/91 suit because the head and fins are just down right incredible on it. I especially love Godzilla's eyes, mouth and teeth.

For some reason the current Ghidorah figure looks really good next to the FW Gigan figure. I can only imagine what a Grand Ghidorah or Showa Ghidorah would look like.

On a different topic, it's a no brainer that the first release Godzilla 94 was a big seller, aside from that is there any info, or word of mouth on which is the second best selling figure of the line?

Way worth it. I got one a few years ago and he fits really nicely with the standard 8 inch line, and makes for an imposing figure among 6inchers. Hopefully by the time a potential Grand Ghidorah is ever released they'd have fixed that dumb wing issue
