I blame the selection... Out of 16 or so monsters we got 2 FW Gigans, 4 Kiryus and 5 Millennium Godzillas (several of those Godzillas are in really awkward poses)... But there were some great releases in the mix. A very good FW Hedorah, FW King Seesar and FW Ebirah in series 1 and a very good Space Godzilla in series 3.

Let me defend my favorite Space Godzilla figure by saying that the actual suit had the knees drooping down to where the shins should be

Okay, then the REAL problem is the length of the upper legs on the figure. Whatever it is, the legs are super stumpy.

Canceled my order of the new 2014 vinyls...I just can't care enough about the movie or designs to devote any space in my collection to them. The movie and the designs are fine, but when it comes to collecting I'm going to stay old school.

Went ahead and pooled the saved money into pre-ordering both the SH Figuarts Kikaider and Hakaider.

I found me Strafe as part of that classic two pack exclusively at Toys R Us. The only one left for now is Slash the Velociraptor. Slog and Snarl I assume are in the Fall so that don't bother me.

The production art in all those books I got were cool to look at. All the different Godzillas, learning Bagan apparently IS canon within the Heisei series (somehow?), the various Precure preliminary designs, and knowing how many redesigns Combattler V went through is very satisfying. I wish there was something for the Mothra movies or the Millennium Godzilla movies.

Well it FINALLY came in.



Took two mistaken SpaceGodzilla and a week for Amazon to investigate their stock, but I got it. Sadly I won't be able to really fiddle with it until Wednesday, and even then that time might get usurped by my girlfriend.At least I finally got it.

Now to save up for Biollante.

Got my 25cm Gamera 96 (X Plus) in today. If he's not my figure of the year this year I'll be shocked. One of the rare cases where the 25cm is better than the 30cm.
