While I'd love to hope that the Director's Cut is a drastically different movie more in line with Edwards' promise from 2013 that Godzilla would be "the punishment we deserve," I can't imagine it'll be much more than the movie we got with some or all of the deleted scenes spliced back in.

We all thought those Godzilla napkins and toys were fake too lol. Guess standards have dropped when it comes to presentable pictures for merchandise.

Anyway, I think any Directors Cut from G.E. would contain more drama scenes.

Maybe its just different takes of the same scene...the battle in Hawaii is actually shown and it cuts to his son watching Godzilla dive into the water giving chase thus preserving the comedic effect...plus more Serizawa
