^The height seems to be another typo. Seeking confirmation on it. It wouldn't be surprising since it's like the 3rd time in a row that they've listed the height wrong and corrected it later.

Hi-Res Promo shots of SHMA Godzilla (2014) are now available along with 3 exclusives!

Was that effects set originally planned to match Godzilla 2014? The atomic breath appears to complement this one better than the retooled Heisei Godzilla.

Oh come on, ANOTHER release without accessories?!

Does Bandai have a hate on for blue atomic beams?

The figure itself looks down right amazing, but seriously, we need some freaking blue beams released in this line. There has only been one but we have like 5 orange ones and some puke yellow ones. What is the deal?

Yeah, that's a sure buy for me here (._. ).

But it'd have been nice if it came with the atomic breath. It looked just so darn unique to the movie. Something between the Showa and Millennium beams. I do gotta say I think spreading out the toes here makes the overall design look better and gives it weight, like the squash and stretch style of motion. Yuji Kaida did superb work here on the mold. I hope it's on display at the Tokyo Toy Show or something so I can get better pictures.

Now if only Bandai will make Mutos :(

EDIT: It just looks so wrong to have Godzilla 2014 blatantly attacking buildings now >_>

I'm not happy about the lack of a breath effect either. This was the perfect time to release a new blue breath effect, even if it was sculpted specifically for the 2014 version and not the Toho Godzillas. Even if it made it cost more! There's also no room this year for any kind of 2014-specifc effects set this year (whatever comes out in December is almost certainly not that), so at best if one happens or is packed in with a Muto or whatever, it would mean waiting until 2015.

It's not all-bad, because at least this guy looks great and is supposedly quite large compared to other Godzilla MonsterArts. A very likely purchase, I have so many SHMA as it is, but maybe not a preorder day one.

As for the lack of beam, there's always hope www.canofbeams.com will do something about that.

Gigan has arrived and he is pretty awesome except his right mandible will not lock into the hole on his head.

The majority of the pictures can be found here http://s1366.photobucket.com/user/DrKai ... nal%20Wars

but here are a few of them:

I need to pick up Freeza... I already got Cell a while back. The mandible won't lock? Weird, mine does just fine. I guess a hair dryer or silicone shock oil will do for now.

Nice to see you got a Rider Kick out of him. I'd be nice if someone made an articulated FW Godzilla to go with it.

Yeah that size has to be a typo. It would only make it about the same height as one of those Figuart Sentai figures.

Well at least we can see the sizing better compared to the Heisei's tallest Zillas...

Compared to the buildings: ( notice the knee cap area placements)

and Bandai did a 60th Gojira anniversary video. Nothing too extravagant, but I like that they incorporate some of Naruto65s stop motion videos in with the still pictures...

Going to order Battra Thursday night then when I get some extra money in August or September order Mothra. I want to try and get all the web exclusives bought before they go OOP. I'd really love to get Destoroyah (Adult) but his price keeps going up and I just can't afford it right now.

I don't know when this poll closed that Naruto65 did, but was surprised greatly that Godzilla 1954 won out overall as the one with the most votes.

http://shma-articulationseries.com/vote-2014.html

So Naruto, have you submitted the results yet and/or do you know how impacting the final results are on who gets picked next for production?

I think the pose I want to recapture the most is the roar from the end of the movie before he wades off into the ocean.
