. Michael Giacchino. Great, great, great choice.

There's rumors that he's helping out on the new Star Wars movies too, due to it being an Abrams' flick (Micheal G is to Abrams as Williams is to Spielberg). So this is a good chance to brush up on his Williams-esque chops.

Any word on Neal or Goldblum returning for this?

That IS an interesting idea! Even moreso than the idea that Jurassic Park has finally been finished, opened, and is a popular tourist attraction, the idea that the general public is over it is a fascinating one.

I was kinda worried, but the interview did a lot to alleviate my fears. The main thing that had me concerned was the talk about trained dinosaurs, but he's clarified that they won't be like trained dogs or something like that, so that's a relief.

I also really like what he says about the themes the movie will be exploring. Like people already getting used to and taking for granted the existence of dinosaurs, almost becoming bored of them. Which then leads to the people in charge pushing for the creation of new, "bigger and badder" dinosaurs to keep the public interested, bringing us to the themes of corporate greed and the ethics of genetic tinkering (already explored in previous movies, but seems this will go deeper). Cleverly, it also serves as a sort of metacommentary on the audience's expectations for sequels and summer popcorn films in general.

Done right, this could be the most intelligent Jurassic Park film since the original, perhaps even surpassing it. Hell, I'll give them an A just for effort, JP3 was so empty and brainless, and didn't dare to take any risks. I also appreciate that he says he'll take full responsibility if it fails. I like this guy, and have faith in him to deliver a worthy sequel.

Given all the crazy BS ideas that've been thrown around for JP4, the new interview is especially great to see. I have to admit, I haven't watched any of the JP films in years, but this does make me want to revisit them.

I feel myself getting excited for this...but I'm too amped for Apes to care about anything in 2015 at the moment.

Once we start seeing some trailers and footage and dinos and stuff, I'll probably go from "neat" to "AWESOME!" in a few seconds.

I hope this will be as good a return as Rise was for Apes. It sounds very promising.

I'm just sad we won't be getting a Carnotaurus :( (well, we might, but I doubt it)

This has rekindled my interest - I love JP and can appreciate Lost World...JP3 is garbage.

But this new article sounds great.
