SUPER
HEROIC
MONSTERARTS.

People gonna complain about Grendizer's poseability too even if he couldn't do it on the TV Show (but he can in Super Robot Wars)?

I'm a little bit disappointed with Amazon. They shipped out my Mothra today but even though I have second day delivery on it, she won't arrive until Tuesday thanks to the low lifes at Ontrac. -_-

Why the hell does Amazon keep using Ontrac????!!!!!

I'm getting Mothra, Mighty Morphin Blue Ranger, and Sailor Venus tomorrow through UPS via BBTS. How much did you end up paying for Mothra when you got her at Amazon?

In case you haven't heard, Kiryu (2002) is out of print. What's available on the market is all that's left. The good news is, Kiryu (2003) is being released November 2014! Check out the Hi-Res images of this awesome figure. Product information hasn't been released yet for North America, but expect it sometime next week!

There's one more reveal for this year for sure. Kiryu 03 is an October Release in Japan, that leaves December for the last SHMA of 2014. There's a chance they may be announcing two monsters, I only know of one though.

That is gross as all hell, I hope you and your wife do get that refund. Funny, it almost sounds like a return and the prior owner decided to keep the unique stand piece for the hell of it, but unless it was an Amazon purchase that's not very likely.

My replacement Moguera was SpaceGodzilla again. So I chatted with Amazon help and they're going to investigate their inventory on it and take the their listing of it off until their done, which she said would take about a week. So my money will be refunded in a few days and I'm getting a $5 credit to my account for the trouble.

Interesting to know.

Dammit Mothra stop photobombing!

So I got her, and I love her. And Mothra too. Kinda weird seeing the pins sticking out of her wing, but I do say the rest of the mold is superb and I feel like Mothra's legs have better range of movement than Battras.

More to come soon.

Considering the vehicle packs and buildings are something a LOT of people have been wanting for a long time, and the military stuff was Japan exclusive for about 3 years, I'd say those pieces are not wasted release slots.

People like army building. It's the entire COBRA troopers, Vehicons, Zakus, and GMs exist. Army building is in Bandai's blood. I don't see the reason to complain about it, other than to just... complain about it.

Rant time. Be warned.

I wanted to post my feelings about this because it got underneath my skin. I have ONE SH Monsterarts, that being Burning Godzilla, which I bought for the fair price of $70-some back in March. Low and behold, now they're re-releasing it as Junior Adult with the Spiral Beam effect... for a lower price than what I bought Burning Godzilla. Okay, fine. I'll just grit my teeth.

... and now Kiryu 2002 is OOP (which sold for like $80) and Kiryu 2003 comes out... $114. Yeah, know what I say about that?

F*** that. F*** that in the ass.

I was planning on getting a handful of other SH Monsterarts figures, but screw that. I'll stick with NECA and cross my fingers they do kaiju SH have done and haven't done. As far as I'm concerned, the folks behind this s*** can kiss my ass.

End rant.

I don't care who this bothers...

Tamashii knows full well at this point they've nurtured a customer base that is so obscenely obsessed with this line that they'll buy anything they release. I mean, Jesus, the first Kiryu was a retail release that wasn't even put out a year ago and already it's going out of production. And now they're gearing up to release another one. But of course, this one is a web exclusive that's going to be at least $30 more than the first one. And of course there's the ridiculous cash grab that's the repainted Burning Godzilla, now being sold as a grown-up Junior that you know people are going to buy because, "EMEGERD NEW CHARACTER!"

Honestly, once I get Mothra and Battra the only thing left in this line that I'm looking forward to is the larvae set. I didn't get the Godzilla 2000 and I don't regret it, I skipped Gigan and also I don't regret it, and if I really want an articulated G'2014 figure, I'll save a good chunk of money and buy the NECA. Call me when a '91 Godzilla or Mechaghidorah get announced, or when Tamashii gets their heads out of their asses and starts doing Showa stuff again.

that is a bit odd to see a figure that is only changed a little bit to be increased in price like what you see with Kiryu. Maybe material costs have increased or something, Some other factor from production maybe. Or maybe that since it is an exclusive that accounts for the increased cost (as sometimes exclusives are more). Another thing too is that maybe they are producing less quantities of the MA figures so there are going to be less sitting around in stock. Like we talked about before, some shops in Japan were just loaded with MA figures of the first few releases in abundance. They were not moving as fast as seemingly here, and we got the attention of Tamashii about the demand in the West.
I can hear really well and I am STRONGER than ever!

Maybe you should tell the folks at Bluefin your beef with the line on their FB page as well? Angry customers (or noncustomers?) usually grab a lot of attention on public social media. Or chew out and call out Naruto65 since he's their underling

As for nurtured consumer bases; I don't see why it should annoy you, when they-the implied brainless people who like these toys, are the ones buying and you aren't. :?

Redecos and retools are pretty much universal in every toyline, so that's not new, even if it can get annoying when its done too much. It's Transformers' bread and butter when it comes to making new characters.
