My NECA G'14 came today and I LOVE it. Is it SH level? No, but damn near. And for 1/3 the price, I can't and will not complain. I am extremely excited to see what their Godzilla '94 is like in person. If NECA keeps this level of quality for this price, I am officially on board with them from now on. Can't wait to get the 24" one now!

No NECA Godzilla or Jakks Godzilla at Toys R Us yesterday.

- did see a kid leave the store with one of those 12 inch Bandai Creation GFW Godzillas, so that's cool.

It does feel that way, and for that I'm really happy. My go to Godzilla toy as a kid was the Imperial Godzilla, and its one I still got.

Finally found at K Mart FOR $35. SRP $50 Glad I waited. Jakk's Pacific knows how to make "TOYS" This ain't no over priced keep it inside on a shelf collectible. Its a drag it out the sand box and have some serious fun kind of toy. Nice and solid hard plastic and plenty of heavy duty rubber stuff. And its a fraction of the cost. The 12" tall NECA is $50. Forget that. this guy is 24" x 42"+

I hit my local K-Mart today and found the Jakks Pacific Godzilla enjoying prime end cap real estate. You know it's big from seeing the numbers and the pictures, but wow is it impressive in person.

I have him standing guard at the top of the stairs right now -- it startled me the first time I came up the stairs with Godzilla there.

I am heavily considering getting a Godzilla 2014 shelf. Some people have a Gigan shelf. or a King Ghidorah shelf. or a Hedorah shelf.

I want to do a Godzilla 2014 shelf, and so far all I got is the little figure that come with the destruction packs and the Jakks Pacific figure (currently in display in my brother's classroom where he teaches).

I plan to add NECA's and Monsterarts figures there of course, but one I am really curious about are the vinyl figures Bandai of Japan will be producing for the movie. Kinda hoping they do Godzilla kaiju in the Spark Dolls size.

Does anyone here have any tips on loosening the lower jaw on the Neca Godzilla figure? My figure has a jaw that just won't seem to hold an open mouth pose for too long. As soon as I open the mouth a few seconds later it closes it.

EDIT: I resolved the issue. The jaw is set on two hinges and once you take it off the figure's head and reattach it afterwards the jaw articulation becomes fully functional. Very nice.
