Am I the only one who ants to smash these New Godzilla " Fans " head off a Wall for complaining so much when all they might have watched in 1 Japanese Godzilla movie and Gino?

^I'd hazard to say yes you are the only one, but I know somebody will agree with you...

I just feel like, when I look around, the people complaining the MOST aren't the Godzilla fans. Godzilla fans understand the way some of these movies go (Monster Zero, Gigan, Megalon, Mechagodzilla, G2K, and others) and know that Godzilla doesn't HAVE to be on the screen smashing stuff every five seconds for it to be a good experience.

It's the people who think that every Godzilla movie is just wall-to-wall Godzilla and insanity who are being let-down....and also Steve Ryfle.

I thought stuff was still pretty balanced.. I mean, yea you want to see Godzilla.. but I was happy getting those few glimpses we get of him until the end. I think I enjoyed this viewing the most. Btw, this movie KILLS in Dolby Atmos. I literally teared every time Godzilla roared.

Saw it again tonight on an RPX 2D Atmos theater, it was even better. I really think anticipation got the best of me the first time, but tonight, the latest showing, 50 people and perfect seating made it fantastic. The first reveal I heard a "holy sh!t that was f-ing awesome...the look, the sound.....f yeah!"

Do you think we'll ever get an answer about the nuclear fallout and the nuke going off that made Hiroshima "look like a firecracker?" That is the most bothersome plothole in the movie, though there are a few other ones.

Anyone else gonna go see Godzilla again this upcoming three day weekend? I'm going at least once. I'd like to see it twice but depends on how the weekend goes. Still aiming for 5 times in the theater minimum.

Has anybody gotten around to reading the novelization? I remember somebody posting some neat details/facts from the Pacific Rim novelization that weren't really touched-on in the movie.
