I've not ordered too many collectible type items, the few I have ordered came through larger retailers. From various discussions BBTS and ToyWiz seem like decent options, is Entertainment Earth another worthwhile choice? EE seems to have some of the Godzilla items a little less than other places.

I walked into a Toys R Us in Louisville on Friday after watching the movie and picked up two of the NECA figs right off the shelf.

I went to Target, Walmart, and Toys R Us...the latter had Godzilla stuff but did not have the NECA figure. I also saw plenty of the Jakks figure at FYE and Suncoast, but I don't have room for something that large.

The monsterarts sculpt is easily the best this design has been rendered. anywhere IMO

It's not really all that movie accurate though. It gets rid of the armored look in most places, and it's skin tone isn't like how it was in the film.

The feet look a little weird as well.

Can't win anywhere with this design as a toy in any form.

Either the feet look dumb and his neck is too thick and he looks like a crocodile.

Or

They fixed the feet, now they look dumb, his skin texture is not like a crocodile etc.

I just want more pics of this thing. I mean they teased a "OH GODZILLA! WHAT TERRIBLE LANGUAGE!" of them the last few weeks. Where did they go?

After seeing the movie, I'm perfectly happy with my Neca. I also now understand why they went with the glossy finish on it.

Like many, I'm getting the 12 inch NECA as a placeholder. But not for the SH figure, but for the 22 inch one, which costs even LESS than the MUCH SMALLER SH figure. Go figure.

Wondering if we will be seeing any regular sized MUTO toys here in the states. Also wondering if we will be getting anything from Bandai Creation besides re releases. Looking forward to the Bandai Japan stuff.

Does anyone know if there are (or are going to be) any Japanese candy box toys for the Legendary Godzilla film? In the past I have really enjoyed collecting the SD and Iwakura Bullmark candy box toys. Thanks for any insight you may have...
