Just my opinion, but I doubt this will get made, at least I hope not. A couple of years ago it was announced that a film based on the book Kong: King of Skull Island was in the works and never got off the ground.
If there is another Kong movie, I hope it would be a King Kong Vs Godzilla remake, especially if Legendary Godzilla is a big hit.
