Stopped at Toys'R'Us on the way home and found the 6" Neca figure. I was a little surprised to find him with the rest of the G-merchandise, because normally they keep all the Neca stuff in one aisle. I was also a little surprised to see so much G-merchandise(representing many eras) all together. Felt a little surreal, actually.

So back to the figure. It has a lot of mass to it, very heavy. It weighs more than you think and I'm still a little shocked by it, in a good way, each time I pick it up. Its also pretty damn poseable, very above average for a Neca figure. Not seeing any future joint problems despite the weight either. Its very solid.

As for negatives, he's very mono-colored. There's some color on the belly and I can't determine if there's some color on the dorsal fins or if its just that the fins look that it might be that way because they're made of a different material. He may be accurate, but I wish there was something more about him that popped. I might feel differently about that post-movie though. Also, I can't get the mouth to stay in a closed position.

Definitely feels like a solid figure well worth the $20.

Got him! Call me crazy, but I honestly feel that this is just as good as an SHMA figure. Now I'm even more excited about getting the 12in tall one!

Congrats! My figure doesn't come in till Friday. I like the way you posed Godzilla more than what I've seen in promo images. Are there any issues with the bendy tail?

That's the 6" tall one? Extremely excellent detail. Guess I'll be ordering the 12" tall one too. Mine smaller NECA should arrive tonight according to tracking info. And just before the movie! YAY!

Not sure if anyone has been tracking this, but for a couple months Godzilla went missing from the Coming Soon section at Sideshow, but he's back now. Still no announcements or teasers beyond the initial license announcement.

I just want NECA to make the two Mutos to go with my Godzilla, then I'll be completely satisfied.

Now this is thread appropriate. For all those who got the NECA 6 inch tall figure and wonder why you can't close the mouth, well here is a video showing you how to get the mouth to close so you can have a fully articulated mouth.

So I ordered my NECA figure on Sunday, how long was it before your figures actually got shipped?

I ordered my figure on Friday and it wasn't shipped until the following Monday. If all goes well, according to the usps tacking number, Godzilla should be arriving today.

I think I made a mistake. So you know how I preordered that NECA Godzilla? Well, I did it from ToyWiz. I was wondering why they haven't listed it "in stock" yet, and when I did a little research, it sounds like they're not the best site to buy from. Not only that, but it seems that people have been having issues even canceling items. Damn! Damn! Damn! Well, I guess it's worth a shot. If I can cancel and get my refund, I'm going to head to TRU and get me one of those. Anyone have experience with this site?
