I'm guessing it was a design decision. Mothra's wings are heavier than Battra's. Although I don't know why that had to separate the wings at the base. Battra's is separated as well, but least they're on the same base joint. The result is that Battra has better wing articulation. My only issue with the figure is the wing articulation.

Mothra for the Darkness Collection!

I'm probably going to skip the 6 Inch NECA Godzilla, or at least not actively seek it out. Not with this coming out.

October 2014 for NA.

Edit: Mothra and Gigan are now available from US reatailers. Namely Anime King and Toy Arena. The other major ones are expected to get them in stock later next week.

Heh, funny. Japan, a country sick of Godzilla get's a figure for an American reboot before Murrica does.

I hope the teasing ends soon. I mean, it's right there at the Akiba(ranger) Show Room.

I haven't bought any of SH MA figures yet. But I'm getting tempted. Any suggestions for the first of these to get as a "must own" figure?

There have been a lot of fantastic sculpts in this line, but if I could only keep one and had to sell the rest, I'd pick SpaceGodzilla. I don't know if I could easily narrow down second place though because there are some really solid sculpts and paints.

This isn't a re-issue announcement. Hi-Res pictures of the original Toho Ultimate Weapons & Godzilla Effects Set are now available for the first time!

No, the max resolution available was around 500x500 pixels. These are over 3000 x 3000.

I guess this is a suitable place to do it. I like the design choice they went with the Kikaider figuarts. I'm juggling in my head whether to get this one, or wait for the rebooted design.. I really like both designs so its tough for me.

I'm hoping they make an SHFiguarts Metalder to sort of coincide with the new Kikaider movie. And most of all, I hope the new Kikaider movie is good.

4 days huh... :P

I must say again, that tail is extremely long. You would hope it is detachable. Having a lot of open box space would be adding to package size a lot. Unless they are going to perhaps have some accessories with this one that helps to fill in the empty spacing caused by such a long tail.
