KK vs G and Gorgo already shipped but it said that Gamera might take a week or so to ship. I didn't see that text until after I purchased it. Meh, whatever. I can be patient.

I was at the supermarket recently and while walking by the dvd rack a Midnight Movies Double Feature logo caught my eye. I already have a couple of these discs(Yongarry/Konga for example), so I looked closer and saw a that it was "The Land that Time Forgot" with "The People that Time Forgot"! I recognized the titles from losing entries in the viewing threads. :) I didn't even realize until I watched them that People was a sequel to Land.

I http://www.amazon.com/Forgot-People-Mid ... ime+forgot

I paid $6 and looking at Amazon, I seem to have found a good deal. :) These Midnight Movie releases always seem to be quality releases too.

Fry's had these all for $2-3 cheaper than Amazon has them right now. Score!
Especially since I still need a couple of the Shout! DVDs and the Gamera blus were actually cheaper than those are.
And Godzilla vs the Sea Monster for $9.99? WOOOO!
Gills.

My Amazon order arrived today: The Sony Godzilla Heisei/Millenium Releases, the Kraken Showa releases, the Mill Creek Showa Gamera releases, *and* Space Battleship Yamato.....*ALL* on bluray. Very excited, but also a little intimidated by the viewing time I've booked for myself in the near future!

My biggest dilemma....where to start?!?! :D

So I've had this craving to watch the Sony version of Godzilla 2000 for a bit now since I want to see why people say Toho prefers it and I just walked past a copy at Walmart last night of it for $5, so I figured why the hell not. It is only $5. I'm going to watch both versions back to back. Of course, now that I bought this DVD Sony will probalby announce a BD release of it right after I watch it.

Not really a purchase but I had some points on my Sony reward CC that needed used so I got the Critic Complete series. Should be here in a couple of weeks. What really sucks is they had all the recent Godzilla double feature BDs so I could have gotten one of those for free.

Mrs Klen7 came home yesterday with used copies of Iron Giant, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Lilo and Stitch, Finding Nemo, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek, Disney's Robin Hood, The Incredibles, and Eastern Promises... I am assuming the last one was not intended for our little monster.

So any word or hints to a GMK G2K blue ray release?

Also bottom line are the recent Sony releases worth upgrading to blue ray.

^I think this is the right image. It was the complete director's cut version or whatever...in any event it was only $8 on Amazon. "I'd buy THAT for eight dollars!"

Image
^This guy was only $20 on Amazon. I had to finally break down and get it. I wouldn't normally double-dip when the DVDs are actually quite good, and my list of desired blus is a mile long, but for $20, I needed this set.

Isn't the uncut version of Conquest only available on Blu anyway?
