Them turtles look huge and big and over-musclefied. ~ How are they gonna be playing hide and seek the ninja way? Also, I tho ught they were supposed to be the little guys facing big enemy like bebop and rocksteady, while uttering the phrase, "the bigger they are, the harder they fall". :?

^I'd say the biggest difference is that in the lead-up to 1998, the attitude was almost universally positive due to the huge ad campaign and intense secrecy.

Also, hey, we've got 28 Toho films to fall back on...

I've never been a TMNT fan, never read the comics, never seen any of the cartoons or the '90s live action movies. And I still feel violated on the fans' behalf when I see footage/screencaps from this movie.

Wait. You haven't seen the original film?

Stop whatever it is you're doing now. Go watch that movie (and TMNT 2, which might not be as "good" of a movie, but is a good kids' movie).

So, I guess everyone who saw The Wolverine was wrong...

...we ARE seeing Silver Samurai on the big screen again. In fact, the exact same version from The Wolverine, by the looks of things.
