It's supposed to be radioactive yellowish green.

Maybe it's a more neutral colored beam for general use in the line rather than specifically for Godzilla. It's got an explosion at the end after all.

If you look at the pics, the beam ending in an explosion is pure white aside from the explosion itself. It's the redecoed beam and its base that are "radioactive" yellow-green. Why Bandai didn't use the same frosted white look for that beam as they did the new explosion one, I have no idea. At least that one is passable for a Godzilla effect.

Bandai is apparently particular about maintaining exclusivity of certain pieces, so I understand why a blue version wasn't included in this set, but it could've been done in a richer or different hue to differentiate itself from the first-release beam, or used the spiral ray mold instead of a yellow redeco! Virtually anything but yellow would work!

That and the argument for the White and yellowish green beam is for Godzilla Adult junior, which could have had different beam colors. That being said... I think it's just them creating a exclusive fun color varient.

I myself plan on using some blue easter egg dye on these beams.

So I got the MA G2000 for my birthday, aaaaaaand the jaw fell off immediately and will not go back in. Wonderful.

While I wait for the seller to reply back to me about returning it, has anyone ever had issues with the jaw? For me, the peg hole is simply not deep enough, and the ring is too wide to hold it. I spent half an hour trying to get it back on and all I've got to show for it are raw, blistered thumbs.

Couldnt have just stuck with the hinge jaw they gave burning godzilla, oh no....

If you're able to get the ball joint into it's socket and it falls out, then you'll need to dab it with super glue or use Pledge Floor polish to make it stick. If you can't get the ball joint to fit into the socket, then the hair dryer method is your best course of action. The thicker the the plastic, the longer it takes to heat up. If you're able to heat it up and it fits, but then falls out, I suggest making it fit, and then stick it in the freezer to allow the plastic to contract.

Naruto65's recommendations have worked for other figures I have. Sucks about your Godzilla 2000 though =(

The Gigan I got had a stiff swivel joint on the bicep but the heated hair dryer technique worked then. Putting the section with the hole into boiling water for 10 seconds, then fitting the joints in, and finally putting it into ice cold water worked on a masked rider, and transformer I had last year.

Because articulation and beam colors are two different things. We are buying $60+ figure, so they better have as much articulation as they can get out of them. The beams, on the other hand, should make sense. The yellow puke one does not. I just don't understand why Bandai has this hate on the blue colored beam as they have never done once since the first edition of the original Godzilla.

^ That's exactly what I find ironic. I personally leave all the beams in the box, because i could care less about them. So to me, a beam (which probably costs them slightly more than all the packaging to make) is much less a crime than cutting two large T-bone shaped holes in the side of Yuji Sakai's sculpt or leaving fin gaps to give the figure motion that is impossible for the character.

and since Bandai included a Blue beam as THE VERY FIRST accessory in the line, that pretty much set it up as the core accessory. They haven't withheld it, they just haven't reissued it

I dunno. I think it's the same complaint.
That being said, I don't mind wacky poseable figures and random colored beams. I'm fun that way. :D

Good news, everyone. I managed to "fix" the jaw enough to where I'm comfortable with it. After using a blowdryer to soften up the joints, and deepening the peghole with a thin pair of scissors, I eventually managed to get the peg snugly into the hole. The peg actually popped out of the upper jaw while I did this, but it was a blessing in disguise. After letting it sit in the freezer for 30 mins, and then returning to room temperature for another 30, I added a layer of duct tape over the back of the lower jaw where the peg would be exposed, to give it a little more grip and stability. After heating up the upper jaw and reattaching both pieces, i let it sit in the freezer for another 30 mins and then defrost again. i reattached the head to the body, and the jaw, while still a bit loose, stays in just fine. I'm almost positive it's due in no small part to the sturdy duct tape.

So that's it. My G2K is "fixed" and I can finally start waking up the joints and taking pictures. Thank you everyone for all of your advice.
