I think it would be a good idea to start a new thread when the movie is out. That's just me though.

I can't believe it's already been so long since mrbluehair's original "leak" about the movie. It does not feel like it was all the way back in 2009. I remember being one of the people to stand up for him. And now look where we are! Less than a month until this movie is released!

Its still hard to believe that its been 10 years since our last Godzilla film. It doesn't feel that way at all.

Everyone's talking about how old they are now...and I'm still a freshman in high school...

That having been said, I can still remember the day I rented Final Wars and watched it for the first time back in 2007-ish.

Then again, maybe I remember it more because that was the day I hit my head and bled profusely.

And all those naysayers (and we know who they are too) must be eating crow too. Totally tearing into Mr. Bluehair over it. How do you feel being vindicated Mr Bluehair?

Feels great and it feels like a long time...

Where was I in 2004? Hmm... wrapping up Community College preparing to go to actual university. Long time ago man...

EDIT: Looking at the old threads when this was first announced, somethings never ever change ever. ._.

I was also a sophomore in high school when GFW was released. I remember going and seeing Godzilla 2000 in theaters when it came out. That was exciting just because I'd never been to the theater for a new Japanese Godzilla film before. I remember loving every minute of it and then when I got it on DVD, I realized it wasn't as good as I remembered. Also saw most of GINO at a drive-in theater before we left because everyone else was falling asleep. Saw it again in the theater. I had the ending spoiled for me on the school bus with some kid saying how "Godzilla dies because he gets caught up in the Brooklyn Bridge". I thought it was just a kid making stuff up but nope...

The buzz for this is completely different from Pacific Rim. It's been crazy positive for Godzilla so far.

I was in...hmm, seventh grade I guess when Final Wars came out, but I don't think it was out on DVD in the states until 2005, unless I'm mistaken. Doesn't feel quite that long ago when I think about it, but I suppose it was.
