I honestly like it. This and the track playing on the website seem to indicate that the score overall will be very fast and intense, which I like. Reminds me of the Craig Armstrong score for The Incredible Hulk.

I'm pretty sure that piece of music is an opening theme and not THE Godzilla theme. Anyways I really liked what I heard...

It's okay. Not great, not terrible. Sounds like a bit of every blockbuster from the past 15 years mashed together though. :?

I can really see this being used in the 1954 scene.

I need to hear more before I can comment. I'm a pretty tight ass when it comes to movie soundtracks.

With this movie, as long as it doesn't distract from what I am watching I'll be happy.

I am avoiding everything except any new trailers from this point out. I would rather hear music with the movie, so not clicking.

Sounds alright to me. The production quality's maybe a bit flat, but musically, it's adequate. Sort of like David Arnold x Ifukube. It's in line with what we've heard on the official website, so I'm not too skeptical about its authenticity.

I feel like this is the lovechild of Michiru Oshima's scores and stuff heard during The Dark Knight.

Rather generic really. But I'm kinda glad they didn't shoehorn in an Ifukube theme too.

It's a nice enough theme and if it is genuine I'm sure it'll work out alright in the movie, but on it's own it doesn't really evoke Godzilla for me. As others have mentioned this piece is more reminiscent of the '89 Batman movie's score.

I think I read once that Ifukube wasn't big on stand alone performances of his film scores because they were written to be a part of watching the film. Perhaps that's the case with this piece and it will really click when seen in situ as it were.

Though I guess I'd rather this not be the real theme, I'm hoping for something with some weight to it like Ifukube's original Godzilla theme. I could see this piece working elsewhere in the film much better than as Godzilla's theme.

Nothing about this track matches the tone of the trailers we've seen, which has so far featured ambient music and pieces by classical musicians. Especially that goofy harmonica riff at the end, what the hell. If this is real its a travesty, or the movie will be a lot lighter/cornier than expected.
