Just wondering. Also, how well did Mothra(1961) do?

I don't know how GODZILLA VS THE THING did in the US but it obviously did well enough for more Godzilla films to be get released in the States. MOTHRA was a huge hit in Japan (it sold 9 million tickets) and reportedly did very well for Columbia Pictures in the US as well (I don't know the exact numbers).
