Muto shots look great....I'm extremely excited. Also, what's the run time for the film? Has that been revealed yet?

Trailer... Extended Look... whatever you call it: Godzilla himself looks amazing, the new monsters look very cool and unique, and the movie itself just looks terrific.

I think the mutos are some sort of reptile. A very, very, VERY early reptile.

I'm probably one of the few who liked the drama in "Monsters".

Also, something tells me that kid won't play that prominent of a role in the film. Him and Olsen get seperated, then they get reunited.

And I don't really see what's wrong with incorporating a family drama into a monster film. The Host(2006) did this, and it's my favorite film of all time.
"Godzilla is a tragic love story about two romantic leads who went against all odds to find each other, only to be murdered by an obese serial killer with bad breath."

I love how Robert Shaw and Roy Sheider are being name-dropped as amazing actors...they're about as good as any number of people from this movie: Cranston, Johnson, Binoche, Watanabe, Straitharn
Gills.

When I see fans being pessimistic about this film and the human elements, all I can imagine hearing is a loud fart. And that's what I just heard reading that. A loud fart.

This movie looks AMAZING.

Be that as it may, we've seen very little to indicate that Strathairn or Binoche are anything but secondary characters. The actors I'm most unfamiliar with, and who have the fewest credentials under their belt, are the ones who seem to be the anchors for this movie.

The more I watch this trailer the more I want to watch this movie. It literally is like the worst itch in the world that I am unable to scratch. In other news...

I'll always love the suitmation Godzilla, but one advantage of CGI Godzilla is being able to see down his throat when he unleashes a roar. It would bother me as a kid that Godzilla would open his mouth and you'd see that there was nothing there. In this trailer you see him open wide and you can practically smell his (almost certainly terrible) breath.
