This really shouldn't be news to anybody, but seems that Godzilla doesn't have much of a female audience. The Mary Sue is usually a good indicator of how nerd girls are reacting to news/trends, at least in my opinion. Reaction seems lukewarm there in anticipation of Godzilla.

So by "extended look" do they mean another full trailer will be released tomorrow?

Just rewatched all the trailers (including the comic con teaser) and I must say.. Though all the official trailers and TV spots are great, I really wish they were able to use the Oppenheimer audio.

^Cranston is the actor they're trying to sell. He's featured most prominently in every add, his voiceover is present in lots of them, and he's the biggest name BY FAR.

Don't forget there are a lot of girls that are into the geek side of movies and will be into this.

I wonder if the extended look will be the same clip they have shown of the airport scene. They probably waited cause it wasn't scored? That's my guess.

Godzilla's the main star, but Cranston (then Watanabe, then Stratharin) lend legitimacy.

Johnson, Olsen and the kid add a relatability-factor, which is why we're seeing them, but in snippets.
