From the train sequence, I'm beginning to think that the Female will have some sort of back plates as those do not match up with any of Godzilla's.

Also it was probably mentioned before but due to the influence of Jaws among other movies, anyone think it's a coincidence that their last name is Brody....Like in Jaws?

I also do not think they are trying to restrain the MUTO with wires, they appear to be in the foreground.

I may go on shutdown a week before the movie, just to build tension.

IMO, if the trailers and what we know hold true, Gareth may have just made the next great Sci-Fi/Thriller/Drama to be with the likes of Alien, Jaws, Close Encounters, etc.

This is NOT 1998, that's for damn sure!

I like that you can see his dorsal plates from the front, it's somewhat similar to G2000 in that regard.

I've been mulling over an idea in my head, it's probably not something that needs to be discussed, but I thought I'd might as well bring it up; could it be possible that one of the reasons that Godzilla's dorsal spines seem to differ so much is that they molt? I know, I guess it sounds kinda stupid.

I'm wondering if we're gonna get a new trailer to go with the release of Captain America 2 since that film more or less gets the summer season unoffically rolling?? I think we would've heard something either from the rumor mill or a confirmation from LP/WB before now since Cap's film debuts in just 2 days. I seriously doubt we'll get anything new but still... here's hoping.

The only bit of worry I can't quite shake from that TV spot is that ATJ can't seem to decide whether or not he wants to have an English accent. He's sort of doing that same exaggerated weirdness with his voice that everyone had going in Pacific Rim.

Aaron's acting seems pretty bad from that teaser. I can't stand the voice. It also sounded bad in that second trailer where he asks "Can we kill it?" in a Hayden Christensen-style monotone voice.

LOVE the hand reveal. You always expect a foot stomp type scene in these trailers, so this is awesome.

I haven't watched the new spot with sound yet (gotta wait 'til I get out of work) but I've liked what I've seen/heard from Johnson so far. He comes off as suave and badass and I'm not really all to bothered by it.
