Of course there won't be any iconic Ifukube theme used.

Nah, putting the James Bond theme didn't work well at all at the end of Casino Royale.

Just have some generic music blaring away in the background...worked so well for the non-Ifukube scored TOHO Godzilla films.

None of those gushing fanboy reports can be trusted.

You need a realistic observer to give a truthful view.

Yeah. I'd apologize to Gyaos for clicking the wrong quote, but truthfully I just lump them both together anyway. :D

Posting on my phone was clearly a mistake.

Ha, we actually agree on something Gyaos. I don't know why KG's roar was changed. I thought the original was better.

As for G85, I thought the score was fantastic. It's among my favorite because of the mood it creates for the film, and I think that is why I enjoy G85...the film itself is ok, but the effects work and the presence Godzilla has when he's fighting the military is almost scary. Of course, he looks sort of drunken in a few scenes as well.

I remember the Wolverine Orgins leak...my buddy showed it to me and it was admittedly terrible. You're also correct that the finished product wasn't much better. :)

I just can't understand this thought process of different = bad. And I never will. Thats partially what made the Heisei films such a failure, there was no outside the box thinking what-so-ever. It was the same formula, and it got boring.

The G85 score was horrible? What universe is this?

Man oh man, I can't wait till this movie makes a buncha money and is successful enough to make a new franchise to make the naysayers disappear into the darkness out of shame.

Look, battling Gayos is not a worthwhile mission, he/she/it likes what he/she/it likes and he/she/it will beat that drum till the day they die. Sure it's humorous that so many movies had to come before G v KG to shape that movie which is obviously lost since at any point in time they could have ended the series, but to each his/her/it's own. If he/she/it wants to whine about change, then ignore it, as you can plainly see there is no way to please him/her/it about this new movie so why bother?

Some will like it, some will love it, some will hate it and some won't care.

Now Gayos, a small tip from me to you....you get the attention you deserve, if you want to constantly cry foul about this new movie or anything you don't like, expect some strong push back, and quite frankly, it's sad that you feel the need to constantly cry out about your dislike for a film that A) Everyone who has seen any portion of it, myself included seems to think will be fantastic and B) That no one has seen in it's complete stage. I've not seen a movie with this much positive buzz in a long time and not just from "fanboys," a term generally used as a slam. See a true "fanboy" would be yourself, someone who is actually critical of the series and not all sunshine and rainbows.

Just use your head, if you really want to be here, then expect push back, or even a ban for your effort, otherwise there are threads that cater to your specific taste in Godzilla movie and you can gush to your heart's content.

I'm done.
You must show no mercy, nor have any belief whatsoever in how others judge you... for your greatness will silence them all!

Count me also as one who thinks G85 has one of the soundtracks of the series. The opening theme was my cell phone ring tone for a while.
