This is Media Blasters we're talking about. As zany as Toho may seem with some of their stipulations, MB is lucky Toho is approving barebones discs as opposed to just waiting for the rights to expire. Maybe companies with a better track record will be able to put out some quality discs

I have a feeling it has more to do with Japan and US sharing the same region for BD this time and Toho not putting a lot of the Godzilla films out on BD yet.

Then they should get on the ball with it already. I wonder if they intend on releasing more to cash in on the new film themselves. It'd be dumb not to, but... this is Toho... T.I.T.

so glad I got them the first time around. Also whatever "street date" MB decides to announce, tack on at leats 6 months to that, then you'll have possibly a 50% chance of an accurate street date.

Same here, Tom. In fact, I still believe I may be the very first person to by that previous BD since Media Blasters apparently first sold it at the October, 2011 Chiller Theater convention in NJ, and I was the first guy at their dealer's table Friday afternoon on the first day. Anyways, I'll definitely get their Godzilla vs. Megalon BD whenever that comes out. I have the "oops" DVD with the special features, so I'll simply keep that as literally a special features disc, and the BD will be my main feature disc.

Luckily I‘ve manage to snatch DAM BD earlier on, but no such suck for Megalon though... Oh well, bare bones or not, I‘ll bite anyway.
