Crackler and El Gusano are indeed memorable. I can see in the sequel new weapons devised to fight him, and the "Monster Island" Edwards has teased about. Maybe two Toho Kaiju and a few new ones.

I would think that since monsters like Rodan and MechaGodzilla are fairly ingrained with Godzilla in public perception (as they are mentioned by "the masses" in YT comments on the trailer and such) that at some point I wouldn't be surprised if they show up. MechaG might be more of a toss up (TF is popular so let's put one in Godzilla/Pacific Rim didn't fair too well maybe we should shy away from giant robots), but Rodan or Angiurus would translate better in this grounded in reality version. Although I'm all for going wilder and wilder each movie. I would love to see a modern Monster Zero.

And Pikmin, ease up on the BioGoji joke, you're killing it.

Yes Ernseth that would be very cool. It would be my dogs greatest enemy.
The combination of something else in my lap, the roar and the ultimate weapon water
would destroy them. :D

If I were a little kid that would be my favorite toy ever. I always was a sucker for ones that did simple transformations (ninja turtles with pop-up armor!).

This is another video review of the trailer. The interesting thing though is that it shows snippets of the trailer from the reverse angle and the picture seems brighter. Saw more detail in the skeleton scene than I had managed to discern before.

I really like the roar for the toy too! Makes me want it even more. The atomic breath effect is a lot longer than I thought, also I want to see what it looks like in the dark!
