Sony Godzilla Blu Rays CONFIRMED!!

I'm assuming G2K will get its own solo release and GMK will be paired with GxMG. I don't think its THAT odd.

I just hope these have improved subtitles, especially for GMK. Some special features would be nice but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm a bit skeptical, since: (1) If these are coming out on May 6, they should have been announced already. The big studios typically announce 3 months in advance or more. (2) Sony has pretty much abandoned catalog titles on Blu-ray; this would seem more like something that would happen through Mill Creek.

Not necessarily. WB recently announced a Justice League animated movie that was a Target exclusive the day AFTER it came out.

Kind of veering off topic just a little bit but it looks like DAM will be released in May as well. Both blurays and DVDs are confirmed for DAM and Megalon but it looks like they'll be barebones. I believe Keith confirmed this on Facebook.

I was secretly hoping that Sony would be dropping two boxsets (Heisei , Millennium) a la the Australian Madmen release... At least these won't be flipper discs... right? right?

FINAL WARS was the international version as well. Sony has never released any of the Japanese versions on home video.

I know most fans want to see the Japanese version of Godzilla 2000 on a future Sony Blu-Ray release, but I'd also like to have the Toho international dub as an audio option to go along with that. Does anyone know how to contact Sony's home video department? I couldn't find it on their Disc & Digital page and Google wasn't any help either.

Thanks Russ... Yes I just figured out by navigating he changed his source to another page with Amazon links, these are just standard DVD at the moment. Look like quick cash-grabs with no enhancements to previous releases other than the odd pairings. But I' sure we'll find out more soon.

Also just for the record, someone who feeds off the lying, trolling vine of Ben Wagner should never, EVER, accuse anyone else of providing misinformation.
