Gareth Edwards was signing copies of the latest issue of Empire at the London Forbidden Planet store today. Alas I only found out about it the other day and was too....well, asleep, to go. But cool for anyone that was able to meet him and get it signed so soon after the new trailer hit.

^I have no clue. I mean, we've seen Godzilla, we know about the MUTO's, so what is it that would make Gareth Edwards tell them to keep it a secret?

It's probably the Mutos and their particular nature as Godzilla's foes and humanity's, to whatever degree they're shown in the clips. We know about them already, sure, but not the general public. The most they've gotten are some hints on a website the few that went to it would've forgotten by now or the toy listings that went up only on a small-scale online store and disappeared within days.

As skeptical as I am about this movie, I will bow down before the screen if there is some surprise Rodan or King Ghidorah cameo in a post-credits scene or Ifukube's music is included.

I just noticed that if you look close enough you can see the gills! I for one like the gills and are glad there still on the design
