CBM:

Come check out the first official teaser trailer for the twenty-fourth James Bond film, Come and Dive. It features some moody music and visuals and of course Daniel Craig looking stoic.

What is so bad about it? If they overhauled it it was for a good reason.

I can wait, especially if it's so they can get everything right.

An article by the New Yorker reveals that Edge of Tomorrow screenwriter Jeremy "Jez" Butterworth is polishing the 24th James Bond film, which is being directed by Sam Mendes ("Skyfall").

As his roistering, raggedly brilliant play Jerusalem returns to the West End for the final time, the writer talks to Sarfraz Manzoor on what the script says about him -- and how it relates to losing his virginity in an ice-cream van next to a Roman wall ...

This is next year right? I can not wait, but at the same time it is going to be hard for them to top Skyfall.

So it looks like Ernst Stavro Blofeld is back! I know they are not throwing it out there, but with a name like "Spectre", it is a good bet.

Very pleased with this. I hope it's half as good as Skyfall.

maybe we can get some ham and cheese with this one and perhaps we might see the traditional gun barrel opening.

Daniel Craig recently said that Austin Powers has destroyed their ability to have any cheesiness or goofy gags, because they would seem like self-parody now.

I'm okay with that as I prefer the seriousness of the Craig stuff as it feels close to the books. Let the camp stay in the 70s and 80s.

I'm okay with them being a bit more serious, I mean, I feel like it can still lighten up a bit, but mostly the seriousness reminds me of the books. Although I think that Skyfall added a little more playfulness than had been seen in the last two films.

The thing I like is that CR/QoS/SF all kind of work as a gigantic origin. You focus on who Bond is, where he came from and set up all of the people and pieces we love about the franchise. After Skyfall you can go into something more recognizable and classic. I'm so glad Spectre is coming back.
